Children Exploring Sense Via Art And Crafts At MY Craft Studio, Desa Parkcity!

Congratulations on the opening of MY Craft Studio at Waterfront, Desa Parkcity.

It is an educational arts and crafts-related activities that based on Montessori education concept.

Mouse mommy and kids MR MH were having interactive fun time with the friendly teachers!

It is a colourful children art centre. Children perceive the world differently through their senses.

Participation in arts and crafts related activities will lead them to a greater understandings of themselves and their surroundings.

The centre conducts two courses. The teaching modules used in MY Craft Studio are designed with children in mind that is the Nursery Art Course ( NAC ) for children from ages 3 to 6 years old; Multicultural Craft Course ( MCC ) for kids ages 7 to 12 years old.

The kids development can be cultivate in sense, motor skills, imagination and teamwork. Especially in the period of 3 to 6 years old, that is the golden opportunity to enhance sensory awareness and creativity in children.

Mouse mommy has consult paediatrician before, the specialist mention that 1 to 3 years old is the most crucial timing for a baby to explore and experiment the world surrounding the kids.

Speech therapist also emphasize that 3 to 5 years old is the important time for kids to catch up with vocabulary and language. In order to prepare to school at the age of 7 years old to primary school.

Moral support and training being love and patience, discipline and manners, cooperation and sharing are important to instil from childhood.

Parents, kids, teachers and community, all are plays important role to form a healthy and positive learning environment.

Besides that, logical sense and training also important such as order and sequence, sense and motor skills, space arrangement and eyes hands coordination.

All these importance skills can be train and guide via hands on art and craft activities. Daddies and mommies are also encouraged to talk with the children with eye contact.

Mouse mommy loves to get to know that nursery craft is not only emphasize on inspiring children’s creativity, but it also instilling educational life values in children via 12 series of NAC Art Books which is Go Green, World Peace, Save The Earth, Recycle, Love Animal and so on.

As for MCC course, MR was wearing a smart pilot uniform and get the chance to learn various cultures of different countries. Whenever the kid done his art and craft, a unique stamp will be given on his “Travelling Craft Passport”!

MR and MH were home with their masterpiece artwork – Monster. They are happy with it and stick it on the wall.

Mouse mommy was happy that My Craft Studio is able to inspire children creative mind.

Through the art and craft courses, MR and MH were able to hands on to cut, draw, colour, paste and learn to sit and finished their artwork. Cheers! More photos can click here to view.

kidzooona AEON Taman Equine | Fun Interactive Play At Our Neighbourhood Playland!

At the weekend, mouse mommy love to bring MR and MH to our neighbourhood kidzooona AEON Taman Equine. kidzooona is an all-you-can-play discovery learning centre.

It’s hands-on concept was adopted from Japan and provides a unique educational play experience for children. That is one of the favourite indoor playland for kids MR and MH!

At kidzooona, children can participate in fun games such as the slider, air bouncer, ball-pool, role play equipment such as Sushi counter, Burger Shop, Fire Department. It will create an environment where learning, socializing and becoming physically active comes naturally. Encourages the kids active play and learn at the same time.

MR and MH love the ball pool area with many white and blue colour balls with the slides.

Ops! Parents can join the fun too. Mouse mommy also joins the kids to play slides and ball pool fun together.

There is a creative mindset area for kids to play wooden choo choo trains.

MH’s choo choo train was followed the train tracks to travel from one side to the other side.

Magnetic board game is allowing the kids to imaginative to create a building or anything that they want by using parallelogram or magnetic strips. Transform ideas into real picture.

Kinetic sand plays area allow the kids to play and mold the sand.

This is a good eyes and hands coordination cum physical activities for the kiddos.

This round MR and MH want to prepare and serve mouse mommy sushi that they made. Mouse mommy has ordered salmon sashimi – that’s my favourite sashimi! MR and MH served mouse mommy with salmon sashimi with Japanese tea together. Thank you!

They also charge me with kidzooona dollar of RM5 for the sushi.

Mouse mommy was paid and they keep the money in the cashier machine.

MH also loves to help to “vacuum” kidzooona and put back the toys to the designated place. Good house chores helper!

Coincidently, kidzooona was having monthly costume party with theme Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration together with the kids!

Parents and kids were learn how to put in kinetic sand into the bamboo to form “lemang”, how to make a “ketupat” by ourselves, sing and dance together with Lala, Q&A fun session and special gifts to the participating children!

It is a monthly theme event once in a month, can check out at the kidzooona playland.

So nice that we are having a Raya Aidilfitri Party that served chicken rendang, raya cookies, packed drinks and Raya Aidilfitri cake too!

Mouse mommy was thankful that the friendly and sporting kidzooona staffs can play, dance and interact with the kids at all time.

Mouse mommy and kids MR MH loves to have photo moments with Lala, that’s one of the kidzooona icon. Lala is a 5 years old squirrel that brings laugh and happiness in kidzooona. Dancing is Lala’s hobby and loves to dance together with all kids!

Exciting KidZania Kuala Lumpur 7th Bubbly Anniversary Celebrations !

Kai! KidZania Kuala Lumpur is popping a bubbly celebration, marking its 7^th year in existence as the ultimate edutainment centre in Malaysia.

Mouse mommy and kids also joining the celebration together to celebrate KidZania Kuala Lumpur 7th Anniversary!

A month-long celebration, the award-winning indoor family edutainment centre celebrates its 7^th anniversary with all the crowding of children and parents in an event filled with bubbly and joyful festivities.

One of the bubbly activities is bubble art corner, MR blows the colourful bubbles and transform the bubbles into a drawing paper and form a unique and colourful bubbles art!

Haha... of course, the kids would love to blow as much as bubbles as they can... till overflow.

Through the bubbly celebration, KidZania Kuala Lumpur aims to educate children with values that could be attained through creativity that includes self-expressing through bubbles, as well as the dedication and attentiveness to make beautiful and big bubbles!

The Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, Shahrul Nizar Ahmad joined in to launch the event by cutting a cake that had the number “7” placed on top of it, marking the anniversary celebration.

“It has been seven wonderful years since we have launched KidZania Kuala Lumpur, and since then, we have catered to happy adult and kid visitors.

“By introducing new activities from time-to-time to give our young visitors more edutainment experiences and exposures to real-life professions, we remain, till this year, a continued favourite spot for kids and parents for an educationally fun experience,” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from the “Bubbly” themed role-playing activities, special performances and games for the visitors, members of the B.KidZanian loyalty programme called “CitiZens” could stand a chance to win some premium goods from KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s industrial partners too.

Partners like Vitagen, F&N, Mission Foods and Emborg have all joined in the celebration to offer CitiZens premium goods when they have completed exciting challenges and take a turn at the "Wheel of Fortune".

Another partner showing its support is the freshly joined, Faber-Castell through a colouring contest for all the visitors of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

KidZania Kuala Lumpur has been welcoming visitors since 2012, with the aim to combine education and entertainment, enabling children to experience “grown-up jobs”, reflecting “Learn Life Today” in kids visiting the City.
