Kids Back To School Happily With The Antabax Sanitizing Kit

Happy schooling kids! Mummies, are you anxious about sending your little ones back to school especially if it is their first year in pre-school or if they are transitioning to primary school? While kids may be excited about making new friends, Antabax understands the nervousness of parents when it comes to kids’ hygiene.

In 2018, there were 58,693[1] Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) cases reported up to September 6, 2018. This number was 127% higher than the total cases reported in 2017 for the same period.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates 80 percent of all infections are transmitted by hands[2]. Thus, keeping hands clean can help to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. With good hand hygiene the risk of contracting communicable diseases such as influenza, food poisoning and Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD), can be reduced.

However, clean water and soap may not be available at all times for children to wash their hands. This is when a hand sanitizing kit can help.

For ease-of-mind, mouse mommy also equip MR with an Antabax Sanitizing Kit. The kit comprising of Antabax Antibacterial Cleansing Wipes, Instant Hand Sanitizer and Hand Sanitizer Spray, will fit well in kid’s back-pack. It is compact and convenient for situations in school and in class when water is not readily available.

The Antabax sanitizing range can help to kill 99.9% of harmful germs. It is formulated with skin vitamins and Aloe Vera to keep skin healthy and moisturized. Its Derma Protect System contains Micro Moisture Serum which will leave hands soft, smooth and moisturised. Dermatologically tested to be gentle on the most delicate skin, the Antabax sanitizing range is suitable for daily use, even for the little ones.

According to Ms. Mandy Lee, Senior Product Manager, Household and Personal Care Department in Lam Soon’s Marketing Division mentioned that good hand hygiene should be practiced from a young age so that it becomes a habit.

“As a parent, I share the anxiety of kids picking up common infections at school.  This is why it is important to teach our children the importance of hand hygiene, how to correctly wash hands and when to wash hands to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Our aim is to make good hygiene a habit.”

“For times when clean water and soap are not available, the Antabax Sanitizing Kit is an alternative for a quick and easy clean-ups. The kit can be used for hands and also for surfaces such as their desks. Coming into the new year, we wanted to highlight the importance of making simple germ-busting habits a practice,” said Ms Lee.

The Antabax Sanitizing Kit is available at leading pharmacies and retailers nationwide.  Antabax e-store is also available on Lazada,  www.lazada.com.my/antabax .

Brush Up On Kids’ Cooking Skill At KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s KidZ vs Food 3.0 This School Holidays!

Happy school holidays kids! Cooking is a skill to survive in life. Glad that KidZania’s CongreZZ kids cooked up a storm today as they prepared a banquet for the children of *Hilla Community Centre, marking the launch of KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s KidZ vs Food 3.0

This holiday programme from 24 November to 31 December is specially curated for kids, with daily and weekend activities that show children how to work with and appreciate food.

Now in its third year, the launch event treated children from the Centre to a meal of Turmeric Chicken and Long Beans served with rice, and Banana Chocolate Rolls for dessert, all prepared and served by CongreZZ kids with the help of professional chef ‘Abang’ Brian from the Young Chefs Academy (YCA). It is a fun hands on session with the Chefs!

“The ability to cook and feed ourselves, as well as others, builds confidence and gives us a sense of accomplishment - these are important lessons for children that can be applied to many situations. The teamwork exhibited by the CongreZZ kids to prepare this meal is an inspiring look at what it means to ‘Learn Life Today’, and demonstrates yet another learning experience, which is expressing kindness for those in need,” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

MR learns to cook and DIY Pizza with Mission Pita Bread at Mission establishment in KidZania. He cooks and enjoy eating of the pizza.

“Their efforts are a great example of what KidZ vs Food 3.0 has to offer; this year, we have lined up various cooking activities to give children a comprehensive range of learning experiences with food preparations,” he explained.

The KidZ vs Food 3.0 programme categories include the Pop Up Kitchen and Drink Station activities to guide kids through simple food and beverage recipes, while Food Science activities allow kids to ‘play’ with ingredients through experiments like Ice Fishing.

Meanwhile, Food Art gives children the chance to be creative and the Parent & Kid Cooking Workshops will feature a different family-friendly recipe each weekend, such as Cinnamon Rolls and Spinach & Cheese Pull Apart Bread.

KidZ vs Food 3.0 is proudly supported by Emborg, F&N, Kewpie Malaysia, MAMEE, Mission Foods, Malaysia Palm Oil Council, SHARP, Spritzer and Young Chefs Academy.
