Guardian Malaysia is debuting Korean-inspired Lucky Boxes nationwide this 11th of November to celebrate Singles Day, and in conjunction with the launch of Botaneco Garden’s new Camellia and Rice Oils hair and body care line.

Lucky boxes are popular in Korea, Japan and China where consumers pay a fixed amount, but receive 2 or even 3 times the value in curated products from a single brand, or a selection of products from one retailer, all beautifully packed in a box. Customers look forward to the launch of Lucky Boxes because they want more value and more surprises!

The Guardian Lucky Boxes will be available at all Guardian outlets, nationwide, priced at RM50, yet providing a minimum value of RM100 to a maximum value of RM150 of curated full-sized health and beauty products.

Singles Day, November 11 is the largest offline and online shopping day in the world, and was selected as an ideal launch date for Guardian’s first foray into Lucky Boxes.

Among the most anticipated items in the Guardian Lucky Boxes are the new Botaneco Garden Camellia & Rice Oils range of nature-inspired shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, hair treatment, body wash, body lotion and hand cream. Not every box will have these products, so consumers who do get them are extremely lucky.

According to Marketing Director, Health And Beauty, South East Asia Guardian Health And Beauty Sdn Bhd , Cho Do Youn, Botaneco Garden’s extensive line-up of products, and devoted customer base make it an ideal Lucky Box range.

“Botaneco Garden has more than 50 SKUs, making it among the most extensive nature-inspired bath and body care ranges in Guardian. It is consistently a best sellers as it is developed for the hair and skin care needs of Asian consumers.  Made using eco-certified and organic ingredients, with formulations that are free from specific harmful chemicals and with packaging that can be recycled, it is environmentally friendly, too. As more Malaysians adopt eco-friendly lifestyle, Botaneco Garden products fit their lifestyles and their needs.”

“This is the first ever Lucky Box for Guardian Malaysia, and we are confident that with products from Botaneco Garden’s new range as an extra special  surprise in some boxes, consumers will be eager to at least double their value, and be among the first to try the new products from this range,” Mr Cho explained.

The new range is a unique formulation that combines 100% ECO-CERTIFIED organic Camellia seed oil from Japan, rich in Oleic Acid and organic Rice bran oil from India, rich in antioxidants to leave the hair and skin healthy[1].

The range includes shampoo, conditioner, hair oil and hair treatment that gently helps to improve the condition of damaged hair and increases hair strength[2]; and body wash, body lotion and hand cream that hydrates the skin which helps to promote smooth skin to give comfort and softness[3].

This four step hair care range is for damaged hair. Enriched with Plant Keratin, it helps to improve the condition of damaged hair and increases hair strength, reduce the formation of split ends and cuticle damage by smoothening the hair cuticle. As damaged hair can look dry, this range has Panthenol that helps to improve hair shine, and Vitamin E that helps to protect hair follicles from free radical damage.

It is formulation free from parabens, silicone, colorant, alcohol, mineral oil, petrolatum, DEA and lanolin so that users can be confident and assured in their choice of nature-led beauty solutions[4].

For best results use as a full regime. Start with shampoo and conditioner, with hair oil used on damp hair before blowing drying, and as a final step to smooth down flyaway. Hair treatment should be used once a week.

“The Botaneco Garden Organic Camellia & Rice Oils range is ideal for people with damaged hair such as split ends and cuticle damage, who wish to increase hair strength as it is developed to address these hair issues. It is gentle with an enchanting fragrance,” Mr Cho explained.

The Botaneco Garden Camellia & Rice Oils bath and body range is especially suited for those who desire smoother skin as the ingredients can help to deeply nourish, maintain a healthy skin tone, restore skin elasticity and provide hydration for smooth, soft and more comfort for skin.  It is available as body wash, body lotion and as hand cream.

It is enriched with Plant Keratin to assist in maintaining skin moisture content, and suppleness of skin[5]. The addition of Niacinamide contributes to a flawless, resilient and radiant skin.

It is recommended to use the full range starting with the body wash that is formulated free from paraben and soap, followed by the body lotion, that is formulated free from petrolatum to nourish and smoothen your skin.  In addition, the hand cream is formulated free from alcohol formulated and non-sticky to gently moisturize and smoothen skin.

“The Botaneco Garden Lucky Box launch is an ideal time to get lucky with the damaged hair and skin smoothening products you need, at multiple times the value. Get it for yourself, or as gifts. It comes in a minimalist box that can be reused. Head to Guardian and get lucky!” Mr Cho said.
