KL Gateway Mall Celebrates Chinese New Year Together With Yayasan Sunbeams Children And The Community!

KL Gateway Mall, the urbanite mall strategically fronting Federal Highway, hosted a pandalicious Chinese New Year celebration for 50 underprivileged children and caretakers from Yayasan Sunbeams Home.

The children, who were all decked out in their favourite Chinese New Year attires, were welcomed by the Senior Management of Suez Capital Sdn Bhd.

The fun-filled afternoon included a Coin Pouch Handicraft Workshop, 5 Emperor’s Drum performance, Acrobatic Double Lion Dance performance, Rainbow Chinese Calligraphy Demo as well as God of Prosperity Walkabout.

The festive celebration brought even more joy and smiles to the children as they excitedly walked into the 60ft long Inflated Giant Panda Playground located at the Central Piazza.

The Inflated Giant Panda Playground is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia and provides hours of fun for children of all ages.

“As a community shopping mall, we are honoured to host this festive event as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. We hope that the children had an enjoyable and memorable day out at KL Gateway Mall,” said Datuk Ter, the Group Managing Director from Suez Capital Sdn Bhd.

To further heighten the festive mood of Lunar New Year, the Senior Management and staff of Suez Capital, children of Yayasan Sunbeams Home as well as members of media gathered for a 20ft yee sang tossing session, to welcome abundance and prosperity for the new year.

The afternoon concluded with a presentation of cheque contribution to Yayasan Sunbeams Home as well as ang pau and goodie bags distribution to the children.

In celebration of “The Joy of Spring” at KL Gateway Mall, a line-up of exciting kids’ art & craft workshops such as Chinese Fan Colouring and Fabric Ang Pao Packet Workshop are conducted from 20 January till 17 February 2019.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM88 will get the beautifully-crafted Ang Pao Packets, while those who spend a minimum of RM138 will get an exclusive CNY Lucky Glass Plate.

KL Gateway Mall is open from 10am to 10pm daily. All are welcome to participate the Chap Goh Meh Festival on 23 Feb 2019 (Saturday) from 5.00pm – 10.00pm.

Exciting Mickey And The Roadster Racers "Super-Charged" Carnival At MidValley Megamall

Happy weekend! Kids and families in Malaysia are invited to kick-start their engines with Disney Junior’s Mickey and the Roadster Racers Super-Charged Carnival held at Mid Valley Megamall Centre Court from 8 to 13 January 2019! Till this Sunday only!

Families can look forward to a fun line-up of activities, including the chance for kids to design their very own roadsters, scan their creations and watch them transform into 3D vehicles that will race around Hotdog Hills and major KL landmarks on a huge first-ever interactive digital wall in Malaysia.

Young racers will also have the chance to participate in Mickey and the Roadster Racers-themed arts and craft, and LEGO DUPLO workshops.

Plus, from 11 to 13 January, families will stand a chance to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in special meet and greet sessions, only at the Mickey and the Roadster Racers Super-Charged Carnival.

Mouse mommy also one of the Mickey Mouse fans! Many Mickey Mouse games, activities and merchandise available during this weekend too.

Kids can participating in creating your own DIY helmet and get ready to race with your crafted helmet! Ready, Set, Go!

Try your hand at being a pit crew for a day at Mickey Pit Stop Challenge!

The Mickey and the Roadster Racers Super-Charged Carnival celebrates the premiere of brand new Super-Charged episodes from the animated series Mickey and the Roadster Racers on Disney Junior (Astro CH 613), every Monday at 2.30pm (starting from 7 January).

In these special episodes, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy run a super-cool garage of transforming their vehicles to super-charged roadsters, which they race to awesome new locations!

Experience Winter Wonderland In SnoWalk i-City Shah Alam!

December month is a school holidays cum Christmas month. MR and MH both were asking mouse mommy where can we experience the winter fun in Malaysia?

Cool! Mouse mommy was thinking of SnoWalk at i-city Shah Alam will be a good place to let the kids to explore and experience the winter wonderland! Let’s have a family fun day out together!

As in i-City SnoWalk Shah Alam is a unique leisure attraction for families and friends to explore winter anytime around the year, especially during the year end school holidays, Christmas, New Year or a short family staycation. It is located at Shah Alam, i-City is easy to access with NKVE and Federal Highway.

When we reach SnoWalk, winter boots and winter jackets were provided for us. MR was act quickly to wear his socks, winter hands gloves, winter boots and winter jackets.

Exciting wanna to explore the “ice fun”. We need to prepare our own stocking and winter hands gloves. Anyhow, it is available to purchase there if forgot to bring along from house.

Once we are step in, can directly feel the icy feeling! Mouse mommy and kids spotted many live-sized and colourful ice carvings! The first one the we spotted is a Ice Car and Ice Choo Choo Train!

We can go in and experience by ourselves! Haha! A nice ice playland caters for MR and MH.

They are exciting and busy to play around and showed mouse mommy that this is ice choo choo train, slides, ship, igloo, roses and so on!

With the new expansion up to 2 football fields, the all new SnoWalk skilfully carved from ice carvings depicting live-sized cartoon scenes for family’s to experience. Imagine staying in Switzerland or Iceland being wrapped around larger than life- sized sculptures.

Families can spend hours in the attraction and self-experience short stay in a winter cold environment below 8 degrees Celsius.

Mouse mommy also worried that MR and MH cannot take the coldness.

Glad that there are few rest areas that we are allowed to rest and continue inside if we feel too cold at any point of time. Mouse mommy can always bring the kids to rest and continue the fun.

There are many slides inside the SnoWalk to have fun for both adults and kids! MR and MH enjoy the slides so much! They are keep on playing till do not want to go home.

Mouse mommy also spotted many Christmas theme ice carvings there such as snowman, Santa’s sleigh, igloo and so on.

An instagrammable-friendly photo spots for family and friends! Of course, mouse mommy snaps many family memorable photos to capture sweet family moments! Cheers!

It is really a huge area! You will be surprise when you reach the last station as we do! It is a snowing station!

Families can experience snowfall anytime, all year long.

No needs to wait until winter to get a feel of snow fall! Yeah! This will be fulfilled MR and MH request of snowing fun!

MR and MH were so happy to see the snowfall, white Christmas decoration with real snowing in the house!
