School Holiday day out at KidZania Kuala Lumpur!

The biggest football event of the year is just around the corner, and KidZania Kuala Lumpur welcomes fans to a football haven for Malaysian kids! From 9 June to 8 July, KidZania SportZ 2018 initiates the joy of playing football and celebrates the world’s most popular game.

Mouse mommy also take this opportunity to bring along kids - MR, baby MH and friends to explore and experience varieties of Sport games and football at Kidzania Kuala Lumpur.

Football Challenge

Activities range from daily sessions of futsal, foosball and table-top football phenomenon Subbuteo, while highlights include special appearances from the Malaysia Blind Football Team and an exclusive workshop led by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Grassroots team.

Blind Football

Families who visit KidZania Kuala Lumpur will be able to learn more about Blind Football and try scoring goals while being blindfolded in a special session with Malaysia Blind Football Team, and join football experts from FAM Grassroots as they provide an exclusive coaching session at the establishment.

Blind Football can let the kids understand the importance of eyesight that we have to taking care of. Understanding and appreciate that playing football with blindfolded is not an easy task. Do not spend long hours with computer or digital gadget that might harm to our eyes. Do not simply rub eyes that might injured our cornea of the eyes too.

“With the current spotlight on football, it’s the perfect time to get kids excited about playing sports and being active,” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

“Sports is more than a healthy pastime, it improves coordination, builds confidence and helps develop social skills. Games can also teach kids about cooperation and teamwork; these are important aspects of growing up and we are proud to present ‘KidZania SportZ’ for the second time, giving children more opportunities to ‘Learn Life Today’.”

EARTH HOUR Night Out At Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach!

Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach welcomed guests to its first Earth Hour Blackout Fest – in conjunction with the global Earth Hour initiative by encouraging guests to switch off non-essentials for an hour to conserve energy. The night’s celebrations went beyond merely turning lights off for a memorable night of entertainment and togetherness.

The blackout event kicked off on a high note with life-sized board games such as the 4-D Twister and Giant Jenga, water activities including the FlowRider, and exciting Dome Bouncy House and Gladiator Challenge inflatables.

Hehe! Mouse mommy loves the Giant Jenga, fun to play together with buddies. Ops! I am not tall enough to put on the Jenga block after take it out.

Guests were spoilt for choice at the food corner with varieties from Cubes Pizza, Starbucks, Nathan’s Famous, Burger King, and local flavours such as char kuey teow, roti canai, roti John, fresh coconut water, teh tarik and more!

The Earth Hour initiation commenced at 8:30pm when all lights were turned off and the giant block letters that spelled “Earth Hour” were lit.

The hour of darkness lit up beautifully in the dark, and the Surf Beach echoed with serenades of live performances by talented local artists, The Impatient Sisters, V5 and RazQa.

Guests were further entertained through the blazingly captivating Thumbuakar Fire Performance and the night concluded with Sunway Lagoon’s original choreographed production, the Tale of Mount Berapi.

Fun-Filled School Holiday With Nickelodeon Jr. At Sunway Pyramid

This school holidays from 9 – 25 March 2018, a wide variety of kid-friendly activities and fun awaits the whole family to come and play with Nickelodeon at Sunway Pyramid, LG2 Blue Concourse!

Our kids can experience Malaysia’s first Nickelodeon Playland which features three well-loved Nick Jr. characters: Shimmer and Shine, Paw Patrol, and Blaze and the Monster Machines.

Want to be a part of Shimmer and Shine’s magical genie world? For the first time in Malaysia, fans can meet and greet the twin genies-in-training at the concourse from 16 – 18 March, and take part in fun workshops held throughout the month.

Mouse mommy and family also take part in Shimmer and Shine meet and greet session to have a memorable family photo moments in this school holidays! Lovely!

Kids can also join Paw Patrol in their mission to keep a lookout for trouble at the interactive Paw Tower! Simply climb up the steps and lookout from the top, then take slide down into a cushiony foam pit! MR and baby MH also get excited with sliding games and throwing the light foam pit to each and others. Haha! **Gentle reminder that required to bring along SOCKS for the Paw Tower Sliding game.

Gimme, gimme, gimme some speed with Blaze and the Monster Machines at the Kiddie Car Ride area. Hop in and ride like Blaze and his buddies around the race track, open for kids aged 3 to 7.

MR and baby MH love to drive the Blaze car so much! MR already a big boy and able to drive and control the Blaze car on his own, good for eye-hand coordination activity. While baby MH was required child-friendly staff to remote control the Blaze car. More photos can click here to view.

Interesting Sunway Lagoon The Walk & Hunt In The Wild With Tiger Cubs, Sam And Elsa!

In conjunction with the school holidays, guests will have the chance to see Sunway Lagoon’s newest and adorable additions: a pair of 4-month old white tiger cubs, Sam and Elsa, the first white tiger cubs born in captivity during the Walk & Hunt in the Wild campaign (17 – 25 March 2018). Such a great idea!

Cubs to Samson and Asha, the majestic icy blue-eyed white tiger beauties at Sunway Lagoon’s Wildlife Park that were brought into the park in August 2016, the cubs are already showing their distinct characteristics and behaviour. Sam has denser stripes on his forehead with a playful and affectionate side, while Elsa has sparser stripes on her forehead, who loves sneaking from behind and eager to explore new things and people. Guests will have the chance to Meet & Greet with the White Tiger cubs at Tigerland during the school holidays at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 4:30pm.

The Walk & Hunt in the Wild campaign features an interactive Scavenger Hunt activity, designed to broaden one’s knowledge about the wildlife comprising of riddles and a photo hunt which will bring guests through the Wildlife Park, home to over 150 species of animals.

Begin the edutaining journey by registering at Tigerland at 1:00pm and Wildlife Theatre at 3:30pm (on a first come first serve basis) and collecting the Scavenger Hunt Kit which includes an activity booklet, postcard map, hand sanitizer, Cadbury 5 Star chocolates, and exclusive Sunway Lagoon ticket redemption coupon.

Mouse mommy and MR have fun in the hunt, we are walking around to search, run, spot and snap the wild life animal photos. MR get to know more about the animal name and habitat via this Scavenger Hunt!

We got to solve the two riddles and collect the items as well. One of it is MR got to go to petting zoo to dig for his “treasure hunt”, it is a “I’m a Wildlife Junior Ranger” button badge!

Upon completion of the hunt, guests will be presented with a certificate of participation at Rimba. Families and friends will also be entertained the most talented bunch of animals at the Wildlife Theatre’s Wildlife Multi-Animal Show.
