Be A Kind Kid; Act With Good Intention!

Being a kind person is not always easy. Being a kind person in our daily life is to play our role to have good intention, kind heart and contribute to the community. Being kind to our neighbours, MR and MH both are friendly boys and greet the uncle aunt that they saw.

Kids learn the good social interaction with the neighbours, classmates and community. Smile and say “Good Morning” when we meet someone in the morning!

MR is just start joining primary school, mouse mommy is happy to know MR got good intention to help teacher in cleaning jobs after the class such as sweep the floor and throw rubbish. Glad that MR was apply the cleaning skills that he has learnt in KidZania Kuala Lumpur in his daily life!

P/S: Mouse mommy do not know about it until teacher praises MR that he is a helpful boy, even though he is naughty sometimes! Thanks boy for being helpful!

At home, we have an organic herbs garden that we love to plant some herbs such as mulberry tree, aloe Vera, blue butterfly pea flowers, Talinum Paniculatum and mint leaves. MR and MH will help mouse mommy watering and take care of the plants

MR knows that plants required adequate sunlight, water, soil and air to grow healthily. Plants will have photosynthesis process and released oxygen in the air.

Taking good care of plants and environment is important for our flora and fauna care! More photos can click here to view.

With the environment care mentality, kids will learn to love the living earth with refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle and rewards concept. Kids are taking responsibility in environmental care.

Everytime MR visited KidZania, he must go to Recycle Establishment to work as a Recycle Duty Officer to collect all recyclables items such as newspaper at KidZania Post establishment, used and empty mineral bottle at Spritzer Bottling Operator and used plastic at Z-Mart Shopping Market.

After that, MR will segregate all the recyclables items accordingly at Recycle establishment. Well done MR!

This is a very good practise. Therefore, mouse mommy is supporting and we are practising recycle works in our daily life.

We will reuse the items if possible, and recycle the recyclables items such as aluminium soft drinks can, plastic mineral bottles and books. Try our best to reduce the rubbish volume.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner! Mouse mommy together with the kids MR and MH are also busy to do spring cleaning. Those clothes and products that are usable will be packed nicely, either giveaway to family and friends who needed or will put in the Charity collection station for those people in need.

Hope this little contribution will be useful for the community and prolong the products usage lifetime.

Let’s be Kind to everyone that we meet for a better living world. Put it into practice! It starts from me, myself! Cheers!

Edutainment "Real-Life" Role Play Jobs In KidZania Kuala Lumpur For Kids!

Play is a nature characteristic of a child. Kids role-playing are a game in which the participants assume the roles of characters and collaboratively create stories.

Mouse mommy loves to bring along MR and baby MH to KidZania Kuala Lumpur as in KidZania is a safe place that allow kids to play, explore, experiment, experience and Learn Life Today! Besides that, parents and kids also welcome to participate together in some of the parents-welcome-activities. This is able to promote parents-kids bonding moments.

One of the MR’s favourite KidZania role-play job is to be a policeman. As a policeman, MR got to learn the importance of teamwork and obey to the commands in order to get the task done successfully.

A group of KidZ policeman has to brief by the Policeman officer on the task that required to take charge of the crowd to avoid any others people to go into the fire and danger area.

KidZ policeman are required to be alert at all time and responsible on duty.

In the fire incident happen area, fireman team also come to rescue the building. Therefore, cooperation between policeman and fireman are very important in order to make rescue smoothly.

Glad that MR got the messages and be a responsible and cooperative KidZ policeman on duty whenever dealing with peer or friends. More photos click here to view.

The beauty of role-play activities are to determine the actions of the KidZ based on the situation they are in. Regardless the action is succeed or fail, it forms a system of rules and guidelines to apply in the future whenever they face the same issue.

It is truly an individual personalized experience for the kids, encouraging KidZ to try new things and be creative with the role they are playing.

Once home, MR and baby MH will form their own team to be the policeman. Ops! Mouse mommy will be tagged by them as wanted person and start fired me! Oh my dear boys!

Mouse mommy is blessed that MR and baby MH were very helpful in doing house chores and help out mommy! MR and baby MH are happily helping mouse mommy to sweep the floor, throw rubbish and re-arrange the shoes nicely.

Glad that KidZania Kuala Lumpur creates a caring environment for kids too! MR learns how to take care of a baby gently in nursery establishment in the KidZania KL.

He learns to bath, clean up poo poo, put on lotion, change diaper, wraps the baby properly and feed the baby too! Thanks the nurses patiently demo and allow the kids to perform the tasks by themselves.

At home, MR also takes up the responsibility to be a big brother to take care of baby MH, although sometimes got fighting as well. Haha! This is sibling-life moment.

Ops! Feeling Dizzy At Museum Of Illusions Kuala Lumpur!

Ames Room
The world’s fastest growing museum chain has officially opened Asia’s very first Museum of Illusions, right here in Malaysia. Mouse mommy and media were attending the launch to explore and experience ourselves: What is inside?

The Vortex Tunnel

Once I walked in, the First station that caught my eyes was the Ames Room. It looks like an ordinary room, but in effect it is a master of distortion, making us experience an amazing visual illusion of The Giant and the Dwarf.

The museum boasts the largest single collection of optical illusions in all of Asia and is set to tantalize visitors to a visual and sensory experience that transcends generations.

Colour Room

“We’re very lucky to have been chosen as the first destination in Asia,” said Museum Director Azizul Aznan.

“With museums in Europe and the Middle East already opened and blue-ribbon destinations like New York, Berlin, Dubai and Toronto expected in coming months, Kuala Lumpur is excited to be first on the map in this part of the world.”

Mouse mommy also got the opportunity to snap photo with the Kaleidoscope effect. Amazing of the photo outcome!

Kaleidoscope
Kuala Lumpur is slated to be the seventh Museum of Illusions since the maiden attraction originated in the land of famous international inventor Nikola Tesla, in Zagreb, Croatia in 2015. Another seven museums are scheduled to open before the end of 2018.

However, unlike most museums, where a certain mature decorum is expected when admiring exhibits, the Museum of Illusions welcomes a bit of noise and banter – particularly laughing and bewildered exclamations.

Mouse mommy and media blogger Jia Shin with her cute daughter were experience the Chair Illusion. It is using the laws of perception and play with roles and sizes ratios by simply sitting in a chair.

The Chair Illusion
“We don’t want visitors to be shy about their emotions, we want them to fully engage and interact with the exhibits. We want them to let their imagination run wild and share their experiences with friends and family as they navigate the perplexing, maze-like museum.”

One of the museums first patrons, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan, was on hand to demonstrate the museums highly interactive character, enthusiastically ‘crawling on the ceiling’ equivalent to the famous Marvel superhero, Spiderman.

Azizul said that the museum challenges the mind at every step and turn. “The way our brain works is extremely complex, we don’t merely perceive reality as we see or feel it. What our brain does is gather information from each of our senses, combining and enhancing some details while ignoring others, all the while filling in any gaps using its pre-existing knowledge of the world.”

True Mirror

“With each of our exhibits, we intentionally alter this information and in doing so we alter your perception of reality in surprising, intriguing, and fun ways. This museum is something you truly need to experience first-hand.”
A Trick of The Eye

With over 70 exhibits, the Museum of Illusions has the largest collection of holograms, stereograms, and optical illusions across Asia. Each of the exhibits has been designed to not only thrill and beguile visitors, but to provide a unique opportunity from which to learn just how easily a person’s mind can be tricked.

Are you ready to radically change your view of the world? Take a photo with incredible poses at Rotated Room! The only limit is your imagination.
Rotated Room
“The Museum of Illusions in Kuala Lumpur is undoubtedly destined to become one of this season’s top city attractions, and visitors will have the opportunity to share their spectacular photos and videos through social media,” Azizul said.

The Museum of Illusions showcases entertaining and mind-bending illusions, each of which teaches about vision, perception, the human brain, and science, allowing visitors to understand why their eyes may see things that the brain does not understand. Ops! Really make mouse mommy feeling confusing now.

Confusing! Yellow OR Green? Blue or Red?
Illusions vary from a gravity-defying slanted room to visual illusions where the person shrinks or grows before their very eyes. You can engulf yourself in a dark and disorienting vortex or sit at a table with multiple versions of yourself while playing a game or two. There is also a gift shop that offers mind-twisting puzzles, as well as souvenirs and games suitable for all ages.

“We also have a clever playroom with lots of problem-solving games, which will absolutely blow your mind. This Museum offers a totally mesmerizing experience; one you can enjoy with the entire family,” concluded Azizul.

There are many more to discover! The museum of Illusions that designed based on science, mathematics, biology and psychology, allow us to learn WHY our eyes see things that our brain does not understand. Amazing!

Mouse mommy also visit to the Smart Shop and take home some tricky souvenirs. There are optical illusions, 3D lighting, T-shirts, pencils, notebooks and educational toys for my kids MR and MH. More photos can click here to view
