A sumptuous spread of culinary delights awaits diners at Silka Hotels Malaysia with the introduction of the Juadah Silka buffet dinner.

From 17 May until mid-June 2018, urbanites seeking a taste of traditional kampung-style Malay cuisine need not look further, as they will be spoilt for choice at Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur, Silka Cheras Kuala Lumpur and Silka Johor Bahru.

Mouse mommy and family was invited for the Juadah Silka Ramadan Buffet spread promises a sumptuous spread of culinary delights specially prepared by Chef Mohd Fazi Bin Ramli (Chef Fazi), the hotel’s Executive Chef at Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur.

Kerabu Udang with Mango, Daging Panggang Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Ikan Pari Asam Pedas, Siput Sedut Masak Lemak... These are just some of the many mouth-watering delights that await diners at Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur.

Signature Must-Try dishes are the Nasi Kabsab Kambing, Ayam Masak Kawah and Lemang with Chicken and Beef Rendang. The Rendang was nicely cooked with spices, ginger, turmeric and so rich in flavours! One of the Malaysian Ramadan cooking specialty!

Many exotic fresh vegetables aka ‘ulam-ulaman’ also available.

Mouse mommy loves the ‘ulam ikan masin’ and ‘ulam mangga’. Sambal ikan bilis was great in taste with many ikan bilis spotted!

Chicken chop with choice of mushroom sauce and black pepper sauce was superb! The BBQ marinated chicken drumstick was so juicy and yummy! Irresistible for mouse mommy!

Don’t miss the delicious Satay too! There are beef and chicken satays available with yummy peanut sauce, cucumber, onions and nasi impit. The satay was well marinated and BBQ! Kudos to the Chef’s BBQ skill, do not over-BBQ at all. Mouse mommy and baby MH had finished few sticks of Satay… yum…yum…

Dishes such as Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Dagang, Laksam Kelantan, Pulut Pisang and Aga-agar Seri Kaya, the luscious Kerutup Daging, Udang Galah Percik, Sup Tulang Rusuk, Patin Tempoyak, Siput Sedut Goreng Cili, Pucuk Ubi Masak Lemak atop sweet endings of Durian Buffet and assorted Bahulu Tradisi, amongst others will be available to tickle the taste buds.

The ‘Solok’ was full with fish paste and grated coconut. It is too irresistible, mouse mommy has eaten 3 soloks with nasi kerabu.

The dessert table also looks so tempting! Chocolate cake, fruit tart, puding, ice cream potong, scoop ice cream, dodol, bahulu, biscuits Raya and multiple traditional kuih-muih.
