BMS Holdings Ushers in Prosperity with Grand Opening of New Klang Valley Showroom in Puchong

Fresh off its recent listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, BMS Holdings Berhad (“BMS Holdings” or the “Company”) and its subsidiaries (collectively known as the “Group”), an established Malaysian retailer and distributor of tiles, stone surfaces, bathware and kitchenware under the “Jubin BMS” brand, has moved swiftly to execute its growth strategy with the opening of a new retail showroom in Puchong, marking another milestone in the Group’s nationwide expansion strategy following its recent listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

The newly opened Puchong retail showroom, located in Kinrara, spans 6,481.26 square feet and is strategically positioned to serve a high-density residential and commercial catchment encompassing Puchong, Sunway and Bukit Jalil.

The location offers strong commercial visibility, is surrounded by established home furnishing and automobile brands, and provides convenient accessibility with ample parking. The area’s balanced mix of new developments and mature housing estates positions the showroom well to capture consistent homeowner and renovation-driven demand.

The retail showroom is operated on a rental basis and are designed to deliver a spacious, organised and customer-centric showroom experience.

To drive initial traction, BMS Holdings has rolled out targeted opening-period promotions, weekend activities and customer engagement initiatives aimed at attracting homeowners, while complimentary coffee offerings are being used as a touchpoint to onboard interior designers and contractors into the Group’s loyalty programme.

These physical strategies are complemented by a multi-channel marketing approach, ensuring strong digital visibility across Google search, Google Maps and major social media platforms to capture both planned and walk-in demand.

The opening of the retail showroom marks the early execution of BMS Holdings’ retail expansion plan as set out in its prospectus, which comprises both the progressive rollout of seven (7) new retail showrooms in the Klang Valley between 2026 and 2028 as well as the development of a purpose-built retail showroom with storage facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

Following Shah Alam, the Group has already secured an owned site in Rawang for a future Klang Valley outlet, while construction of the Seremban retail showroom is expected to progress in line with the Group’s stated timeline.

The planned Klang Valley retail expansion carries an estimated total cost of RM36.5 million, of which RM9.7 million is expected to be funded from IPO proceeds, with the balance to be financed through internally generated funds and/or bank borrowings. In addition, the Seremban retail showroom is estimated to cost RM10.5 million, supported by RM3.3 million from IPO proceeds and the remainder from internally generated funds and/or bank borrowings.

Commenting on the openings, Mr. Ang Kwee Peng, Managing Director of BMS Holdings, said “The Puchong retail showroom reflects the Group’s disciplined expansion approach focused on location quality, customer accessibility and long-term market potential. This new retail showroom, strengthens BMS Holdings’ presence in two of the Klang Valley’s most active home improvement corridors, while reinforcing our commitment to delivering an enhanced retail experience and deepening engagement with both homeowners and professional customers as BMS continues to scale its national footprint”.

Looking ahead, BMS Holdings will continue to adopt a disciplined and data-driven approach to retail expansion, prioritising strategic locations with strong demand fundamentals and long-term sustainability. The Group remains focused on optimising showroom productivity, strengthening brand visibility and enhancing customer engagement across both physical and digital touchpoints.

As a newly listed company, BMS Holdings is committed to prudent capital management and consistent execution as it advances its growth plans and builds enduring value for shareholders.

SWOON OVER MID-AUTUMN – TOGETHER, HERE AT PAVILION BUKIT JALIL TO HONOUR TRADITION AND TOGETHERNESS

As the full moon graces the night sky, Pavilion Bukit Jalil invites shoppers to celebrate Mid-Autumn traditions and togetherness at its “Swoon Over Mid-Autumn” Festival, taking place now until 6 October 2025 at Level 2, Centre Court.

This year’s festivities transform the mall into a vibrant showcase of colourful lanterns, captivating cultural performances, interactive workshops, a spectacular lantern parade, and delectable mooncake offerings — creating the perfect setting to relive cherished memories while making new ones with family and friends.

This year, Pavilion Bukit Jalil sweetens the Mid-Autumn experience with an impressive spread of more than 20 varieties of mooncakes, featuring a delightful mix of halal and non-halal selections alongside traditional favourites and bold, modern creations.

From beautifully packaged mooncakes that make thoughtful gifts to indulgent flavours perfect for self-enjoyment, the offerings celebrate both heritage and innovation.

To elevate the experience further, shoppers can also discover a premium selection of teas, thoughtfully curated to pair perfectly with mooncakes.

Together, this harmonious duo invites visitors to slow down, savour every bite and sip, and celebrate the Mid-Autumn spirit in a way that is both inclusive and memorable.

“Mid-Autumn is one of the most cherished times of the year, filled with traditions that bring people together. At Pavilion Bukit Jalil, we’ve gone beyond festive décor to curate experiences that families and friends can truly enjoy, from sampling mooncakes and pairing them with tea, to watching cultural performances and walking in the lantern parade.

We hope our shoppers will see the mall as not only a place to shop, but a destination to gather, celebrate and create meaningful moments,” said Dato’ Joyce Yap, Chief Executive Officer of Retail, Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd.

One of the highlights of this year’s celebration is the extensive mooncake selection, where tradition meets innovation in every bite. Shoppers can indulge in the delicate Bird’s Nest Mooncakes from JYNNS, a luxurious treat that combines wellness with indulgence, or savour Royce’s velvety Chocolate Mooncakes, crafted with the brand’s signature finesse. Oloiya continues to charm with its timeless flavours, where every mooncake is infused with heartfelt storytelling and craftsmanship, while Yong Sheng delights with its halal-certified classics — recipes passed down through generations that never fail to evoke nostalgia.

For those seeking refinement, Grand Harbour presents mooncakes made with premium ingredients, while Herbal Farmer offers wholesome halal varieties such as lotus, red bean, and five nuts, each baked to perfection. To elevate the experience, shoppers can pair these mooncakes with refreshing teas from ChuChat, zesty and cooling drinks from Mixue, or the award-winning, rich flavours of YuYan Tea — each sip designed to complement the season’s delicacies. Completing the festive picture, Fine Star Lanterns bathe the mall in a warm, joyful glow, creating the perfect ambience for families and friends to celebrate together under one roof.

Beyond the Centre Court, Pavilion Bukit Jalil remains a one-stop destination for mooncake shopping, with many tenants joining in the festive spirit. Shoppers can indulge in both traditional and contemporary flavours from Grandmama’s (Level 1, Orange Zone), The Food Merchant (Level 1, Orange Zone), Lavender (Level 1, Orange Zone), Oriental Kopi (Level 1, Orange Zone), Din Tai Fung (Level 1, Orange Zone), Inside Scoop (Level 3, Pink Zone), and many more across the mall.

To elevate the experience, pair your mooncakes with wellness teas from Que Tang Yu Fang (Level 2, Pink Zone), which blends Chinese traditional herbs with modern wellness innovation. With such a wide selection of mooncakes and wellness teas under one roof, Pavilion Bukit Jalil is the perfect place to pick up your favourite Mid-Autumn treats while soaking in the festive ambience.

To heighten the festive cheer, shoppers can take part in Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) campaign, where delightful rewards such as RM20 Parkson Gift Vouchers and a pair of movie passes await throughout the season — the perfect little treats to make shopping even sweeter. Redemptions are on a first-come, first-served basis at the Gift Redemption Counter, Level 4 (Pink Zone), from 19 September to 6 October 2025.

The celebrations will then shine brightest on 4 October 2025 (Saturday) with the highly anticipated Lantern Parade. Picture the mall coming alive as families, friends, and little ones walk side by side, carrying colourful lanterns that twinkle with every step.

Participation is free with registration via the Pavilion Privileges mobile app, and those who register early will receive exclusive goodies, including paper lanterns and festive bags, adding to the magic of the evening. With laughter in the air and lanterns lighting the path, the parade promises to be a joyful spectacle of unity, tradition, and togetherness — a Mid-Autumn moment to remember at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
