HUAWEI MATE 50 SERIES | Officially Launched In Malaysia

 

Stepping into the 10th anniversary milestone since the first inception of Mate series in 2012, HUAWEI Malaysia is officially announced the launch of its latest member in addition to the flagship Mate product line, HUAWEI Mate 50 Series. Available in three variants, HUAWEI Mate50, HUAWEI Mate50 Pro and HUAWEI Mate50 Pro Orange Vegan Leather, the flagship phones are the latest performance-driven smartphones which include breakthrough technology and innovations that are more powerful than ever.



The HUAWEI Mate 50 Series represents a major step forward in smartphone aesthetics, thanks to the symmetrical Space Ring Design and an intricate design. The Mate 50 Series phones pack an Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera, which boasts the first-ever 10-scale adjustable physical aperture and most versatile photography capabilities ever seen on a Mate smartphone. Thanks to the rock-solid "Kunlun Glass", it boosts the phone’s drop resistance by 10 times[1].

 


These robust features are further enhanced by the EMUI 13 operating system, which debuts on the Mate 50 Series and offers a broad array of seamless smart services. In addition to the signature Mate Series design language of iconic symmetry and Space Ring Design, the HUAWEI Mate 50 Series also makes use of the elegant Clous de Paris step-patterned embossing design for the first time ever, showcasing a new kind of ordered beauty that's crafted down to the last detail.

 

HUAWEI Mate 50 Series phones come with two different types of rear cover, glass and vegan leather. The glass cover is available in two colours, Silver and Black, which give the phone a distinct, elegant finish. The vegan leather version comes in Orange, inspired by radiant orange rays of the sun.

 


The HUAWEI "Kunlun Glass “consists of 10 quadrillion-level nanocrystals, the result of composite ion strengthening, which make it more resilient and drop resistant, as verified by the five-star glass drop resistance certification from Switzerland's SGS. This makes Mate 50 Series models the first phones to ever achieve this certification. HUAWEI Mate 50 Series phones also support IP68-rated water resistance of up to 6 metres underwater[2], allowing them to easily handle wet and dusty environments.

 


HUAWEI launched its very own mobile imaging brand "XMAGE" in July 2022, with the goal of offering consumers a new shooting paradigm that fuses science with culture, and aesthetics with technology in terms of imaging style and shooting experience.

 

The HUAWEI Mate 50 Series features a cutting-edge Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera with a 10-size adjustable physical aperture, which incorporates key advances to the optical system, mechanical structure, imaging technology, and image processing. The smart aperture adjusts to match the aperture size with the scene and shooting scenario identified in Auto mode. The HUAWEI Mate 50 Series is the first to run on EMUI 13, which streamlines daily interactions with effortless one-touch navigation.

 


SuperStorage removes duplicate files in an imperceptible way and compresses rarely-used apps. This preserves up to 20 GB[4] space (on a phone with 256 GB of ROM) – leaving more room for the abundance of photos and videos that today's users capture. SuperHub allows users to temporarily store images, documents and text, while sharing them in batches with free and easy transfers between apps and devices.

Equipped with a 64MP OIS ultra-sensing rear camera that boasts upgraded OIS and EIS capabilities, V25e and V25 deliver an excellent imaging experience and allow users to capture high-quality shots with ease.

 


V25 is setting new standards in night photography with the Super Night Mode feature, which accurately restores the colours and brightness of highly saturated images at night. Both V25e and V25 also features the Bokeh Flare Portrait, which uses vivo’s self-developed bokeh algorithms to deliver better portrait quality, producing stunning outdoor portraits at night and scenes with more on point light sources when taking photos outdoors.

 


Easy and fun video filming experience with style

V25 series creates more possibilities for users to easily film and record fun and playful moments with families, friends, or pets at night. The front camera of V25 comes with Natural Portrait video mode, which enhances the overall skin texture and clarity. Furthermore, the Hybrid Image Stabilization (OIS+EIS) feature makes video shooting clearer and more stable. Both V25e and V25 are capable of recording 4K HD videos, together with the Video AI Face Beauty that allows users to express their natural self in high definition.

The new V25 series delivers robust performance and high-power efficiency to support various daily uses of its users. V25 features a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with a high energy-efficiency ratio and 8GB RAM + 8GB extended RAM, enabling users to seamlessly play demanding games and multitask across various apps. V25 supports 44W FlashCharge that can recharge the 4500mAh battery cell from 0% to 61% in 30 minutes[2]. 


 

V25e is fitted with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with incredible power efficiency with 8GB + 8GB extended RAM. It features 256GB internal storage and allow memory expansion of up to 1TB, allowing users to download and store on their device without worries. V25e also supports 44W FlashCharge that recharges its 4500mAh battery cell from 0% to 61% in 30 minutes.

 


The vivo V25 and vivo V25e are now available at RM1,799 and RM1,399, respectively. Customers can purchase the devices at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store, and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada.

 



From 29 August to 2 September 2022, customers who purchase the vivo V25 are entitled to receive free gifts worth up to RM577, which includes a V25 series leather bagpack worth RM129, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249.

 


Customers who purchase the vivo V25e are also entitled to free gifts worth RM547, which includes a V25e premium box Bluetooth speaker and V25 umbrella worth RM99, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249.
