Salam Ramadan. Let this Ramadan be One Full of Blessings! Mouse mommy is missing those day having Ramadan Buffet together with family and friends, especially ala-ala kampung style Ramadan cuisine.

Stay indoors this Ramadan period and let Connexion Conference & Event Centre (CCEC) take care of our Iftar. 

This year, CCEC has crafted two special Ramadan Delivery sets filled with traditional dishes and seasonal delicacies. We can “Berbuka Puasa” and enjoy “Ramadan Buffet” at home safely!

Diners will be delighted to know that the set menus changes daily and comprise of all-time favourite dishes from CCEC’s local cuisine specialist, Chef Raja Romzi. His specialities include Oxtail Asam Pedas, a sour and spicy dish that is braised to perfection and Daging Bakar bersos Air Asam, a well-marinated dish with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, paired with homemade air-asam.

All the cuisines were generous in portion. Indeed, a large portion that can serve more that 5 pax people. 

Most importantly, yummy and well-cooked by The Chef! Especially the Daging Bakar bersos Air Asam, so tender and each bites is full with aroma with its marinated ingredients, dip with The Chef homemade air asam that is nicely match! We love it, even my kids MR and MH enjoy it so much!

Gulai Ayam Serai Santan is rich and creamy sauce with nice aroma of serai, chili and santan.

Kerutuk Kambing Pedas is really soft and tender. Every spoonful is juicy and delicious.

Ikan Siakap masak Sambal is spicy with fresh Siakap fish. Spicy lovers sure will love it!

Sayur Asparagus Goreng Belacan that cooked with Asparagus, onion, carrot and belacan also well-cooked by the Chef.

Pajeri Nenas is sweet and creamy. Trigger mouse mommy to eat more. Pineapple also has many macro and micronutrition for our health.  

Chef’s Choice Dessert for Friday is Durian Swiss Roll. This is the first time mouse mommy having Durian paste in Swiss Roll, so creative of the Chef. Soft, moderate creamy and fresh Swiss Roll with nice Durian paste aroma, with variety of nuts sprinkle on top of it! Irresistible and unique taste!  

Chef’s Choice Cake is Chocolate Banana Butterscotch Cake. Moist butter banana cake with chocolate chip that is a nice dessert of the day! Haha… Mouse mommy has ate for a piece of the Chocolate Banana Butterscotch even though my tummy has filled up.  

Ulam Platter with Aneka Sambal, Kurma (Dates), Nasi Putih (White Rice) is served together with the Ramadan Family Meal Set. Fresh and crunchy ulam, salted fish, salted egg, kurma and sambal is a must in Ramadan meal.

The 2-persons Ramadan Family Meal set consists of 9 dishes and is priced at RM70 nett. 4 of the main items from the daily menu will feature beef or mutton, chicken, fish and vegetable; each cooked with fresh traditional spices in a different style every day. The set meal also comes with a fresh ulam platter, dates, soft white rice and two desserts.

5 Persons Set | 11 Dishes
The 5 persons Ramadan Family Meal set on the other hand serves 11 dishes in generous portion. With 6 main dishes for even greater variety, this set also includes a fresh ulam platter, dates, soft white rice, as well as two desserts and is priced at RM110 nett.

Available for order from now till 23 May 2020 on FAVE, diners must pre-order these Ramadan sets one day in advance and delivery will be on the next day starting from 4.00pm onwards, just in time for buka puasa. 

Diners who book the special 7-day Ramadan set package will be able to enjoy an additional discount.

All the food containers also come with product name sticker that stated production date and expiry date.

#StayAtHome A Special Live Cooking With Ili Sulaiman | Crispy Ayam Goreng Pedas This Ramadan!

As Malaysians continue to spend time at home under the conditional Movement Control Order, daily meals are the source of much frustration, debate and joy. There’s nothing quite like a delicious home-cooked meal to bring a family together and the Curve, eCurve and Boustead Property Berhad have roped in local celebrity chef, author and TV host Ili Sulaiman for a live cooking session via Facebook this Ramadan.

The charming young cook is no stranger to Malaysians who would be familiar with her shows on the Asian Food Network. Favouring a more traditional cooking style and flavours, Ili is set to show viewers at home how to prepare Crispy Ayam Goreng Pedas and a thirst-quenching Watermelon Cooler on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 3.00pm.

If you’re looking for a wholesome dish bursting with flavours, and you’ve run out of ideas for just the right iftar meal in the holy month or any time of the year, make sure you mark this session in your diary. Knowing Ili, one should prepare for a lively session centred around fresh ingredients, robust spices, nectar-like sweetness, with handy tips and tricks! Ingredients for the dish will be shared on three Facebook pages at the end of the live cooking session so be sure to wait till the end.

During the live streaming session, Ili will also answer questions from viewers. Viewers can ask her about the recipe she will prepare or other burning questions as long as they are on cooking and food!

Special Recipes That Using 100% Pure New Zealand Anchor Tinned Butter By Fonterra Brands Malaysia And Chef Florence Tan

Butter is used in our daily cook. Anchor Food Professionals, the food service arm of Fonterra, and Malaysia’s celebrity chef, Florence Tan, unveiled three specially created recipes for baking and cooking enthusiasts using Anchor tinned butter made with 100% pure New Zealand dairy.

Chef Florence Tan led the demonstration of three unique recipes including supermoist chocolate cake with chocolate glace, pumpkin cheesy tart and honey gold cornflakes with almonds which all feature the great aroma and superior flavour of Anchor tinned butter, made possible by generations of New Zealand dairy experts in producing some of the highest quality milk in the world.

Besides the Supermoist Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Glace recipes, Chef Florence Tan also shares us some tips and treats in cooking, such as using long toothpick or satay stick to check whether the cake is fully cooked or not.

Mouse mommy has snapped the Anchor food recipes and shared it here. Another recipe is Pumpkin Cheesy Tart that a combination of pumpkin and Anchor Cream Cheese. 

It is a healthy special tart recipe that has pumpkin aroma with rich cheesy taste.

The third recipe is Honey Gold Cornflakes with Almonds. 

Simple and easy recipes that mix up the ingredients A and B, after that can start to make the dough into small ball shape and coat with cornflakes. Decorate with cherries and bake in the oven till golden brown.

Tips to successfully bake the Honey Gold Cornflakes with Almonds is to make an equal or similar size of the cookies, in order to bake it evenly in the oven, to avoid some cookies under-bake or over-cooked.
