Unleash your inner artist

Take inspiration from the spirit of Merdeka and let your imagination run wild at Bear It, Art and Craft’s Merdeka Craft workshop happening every Sunday from 27 August till 17 September.

Enjoy an arts and crafts session for all ages and bring home a trinket of your own to commemorate the festive occasion. Alternatively, your kids can join the Colours of Unity Merdeka colouring contest on the 26th of August and stand a chance to win up to RM500 in cash vouchers.

In celebration of Merdeka, students from University College Sedaya International (UCSI) crafted the longest batik shibori dress - a fashion art installation embodying the spirit of Malaysian unity.

Known as the Unity with HOPE dress – this 500-meter-long dress will be on display at Pavilion Bukit Jalil until 17 September after which UCSI will be selling the dress by metre to raise RM10,000 for charity. Don’t forget to drop by to witness the beauty and detail in its craftsmanship yourself!

Celebrate the holidays together

With the many public holidays and upcoming school holidays over the next couple of weeks, don’t miss out on the opportunity to spend some quality time with the family.

If you’re looking for fun activities that will keep the kids occupied and not focused on their screens throughout the holidays, then head on over to PinkFong’s Baby Shark Adventureville or pop by ToysRUs to pick up some educational but fun games to keep them occupied.

You could even bring them to watch the APAC qualifiers of the O-Zone Games from 31 August - 3 September which will be sure to keep them on the edge of their seat.
