Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the wayWith the festive season just around the corner, the Curve and eCurve spread Christmas cheer to a group of more than 25 underprivileged children, treating them to an unforgettable day out at both malls, in conjunction with the Curve’s The Sweetest Christmas Ever! and eCurve’s Spectacular Christmas Circus: French Edition campaigns

Thanks the Curve and eCurve that put CSR programme in their festive celebration. Let’s the whole community celebrate and happiness together!

The children from Rainbow Home jumped with joy as they arrived at the Curve’s Centre Court, which was transformed into a candy wonderland! Filled with lollipop and candy cane decorations, in keeping with the mall’s sweet theme for the year, it was truly every kid’s dream come true!

They were also greeted by Santa Claus and treated to candy canes while waiting for the main event to begin.

The wait was worth it as the day kicked off to an exciting start with a candy-inspired performance. Against the backdrop of a colourful candy house, eye-catching dancers decked out in bright, candy-adorned costumes lit up the stage as they performed to fun Christmas tunes.

The energetic show kept the little ones on the edge of their seats and tapping their feet to the popular Christmas jingles.

Jazmi Kamarudin, Senior General Manager of the Curve, said, “Christmas is a time for joy and merriment, but most importantly it is a time of giving and sharing. Following through with our age-old tradition, we are delighted to play host to the kids from Rainbow Home and give them a unique candy-coated Christmas this year.

Sweets have always been associated with happiness and good feelings and we hope that the event today has given our guests exactly that!”

The second part of the celebration was just a stone throw’s away, taking place at eCurve. Kids from Siddharthan Care Centre arrived to a circus set in the streets of France! With iconic buildings such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, and Christmas trees nestled in between.  At the centre of it all, was a classic circus stage, hinting at the thrilling acts in store for the evening.

The kids’ excitement reached a peak as the ringmaster made his appearance on stage, signalling the start of the evening’s main event. The Centre Atrium was filled with suspense as the performers put on a memorable show for the little ones. From the talented magician to the amazing feats of the snake lady, there was not a boring second in sight.

Gina Long Ahmad, Assistant General Manager Leasing and A&P said, “We find that there is no greater fulfilment than bringing joy and laughter to those in need. By bringing in the kids from Siddharthan Care Centre to celebrate a unique, French-themed Christmas with us this year, we hope that the kids experienced a wonderful Christmas like no other and enjoyed their outing here with us today.”

The candied celebration at the Curve’s Centre Court came to an end with a scrumptious tea-party, complete with a variety of desserts at Paddington House of Pancakes, while the young ones at eCurve were treated to a delicious seafood dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market. The kids went home smiling as they also received various goodies, courtesy of the Curve and eCurve.

Himalaya Salt Sports Candy Ideal For Active Lifestyle Goers!

A sweet that combination with Himalaya Salt! The creator of the Big Foot Candy, Nicko Jeep Manufacture Sdn Bhd has officially launched its Himalaya Salt Sports Candy, targeting at the sporty and outdoorsy.

Made with the natural Himalayan Salt, this new sports candy comes in really handy should your body need some extra sodium after an intense workout.

It’s refreshing minty flavour is also ideal for anyone who needs a minty fresh breath after lunch or before a meeting or something refreshing on hot day. The extra cool sensation of the hard candy also soothes the throat at the same time.

Mouse mommy has tasted the Himalaya Salt Sports Candy, it is a combination taste of sweet, mint and slight salty and sour. The main ingredients of the sweets is Himalaya Salt and lemon. Handy and convenient for us to bring along when we go for family walkathon, sport or activities.

Besides that, mouse mommy also found that this Himalaya Sports Candy is good for sore throat too as in I got some discomfort at my throat and feeling relieve after having it.

Kenny Low, the Founder and Managing Director of Nicko Jeep Manufacture Sdn Bhd said the inspiration behind this sports candy came about during a hiking trip with his friends when he suffered bad cramps due to excessive sweating which causes a decrease in the concentration of sodium in the blood stream. This was when Kenny wished he had that candy creation (with sodium content) handy.

The key ingredient of the sports candy which is the natural Himalayan Salt, is believed to possess many health benefits. It contains over 80 natural traces of minerals such as Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium which are all found naturally in the body.

Besides promoting the absorption of mineral and nutrients into the bloodstream, the Himalayan Salt is known for helping maintain hydration in the body. Kenny believes that the health benefits of the Himalayan Salt when combined with pure Lemon juice which is rich in vitamin C as well as the soothing benefits of mint would result in a concoction that greatly benefits the body especially after a strenuous sporting activity.

“The Himalaya Salt Sports Candy comes in a convenient packaging on the go. It must be emphasised that the sports candy is not a health supplement but rather a handy ‘pick me up’ when you need some extra healthy natural salt and glucose after a good workout,” said Kenny.

Alongside the launch of the Himalaya Salt Sports Candy, was the unveiling of the sports candy’s ambassador. Goh Liu Ying, who is the 2016 Olympics Badminton Mixed Doubles Silver Medallist was appointed the ambassador for the sports candy as she is an ideal role model for aspiring young sportsmen and sportswomen.

She is also a fan of the candy and takes it whenever she is out training and have it with her during tournaments.

Besides Himalaya Salt Sports Candy, also launched Himalaya Pastilles Peppermint. It is a delightfully chewy, bite-sized pastilles that come in a convenient resealable packet that soothe the throat and freshen your breath with its strong cool mint flavour. It is refreshing and can get rid of bad breath too!
