#UnlockingRealWomen With Max Factor Beauty House !


Mouse mommy was so exciting to join this Max Factor Beauty House Grand Launch! Congratulations that Max Factor is available in Watsons Malaysia now!


One of the most notable icons in the cosmetic industry Max Factor is now available in Malaysia. Held at one of the finest heritage building - Lot 10, Jalan Tangsi, the brand celebrated its launch with The Max Factor Beauty House pop up, and unveiled its official brand ambassador Lisa Surihani where some 150 guests were invited for an uplifting and inspiring evening of #UnlockingRealWomen.


Such an inspiring evening of #UnlockingRealWoman ! Nowadays, women are busy with multitasking tasks and challenges in life. Every women has her own profession, family commitments and social responsibility. Same goes to mouse mommy as well.

In conjunction with the launch, the brand also revealed the #UnlockingRealWomen campaign — collaboration with an incredible group of influential women such as Kavitha Sidhu, Ling Oo, Raja Nadia Sabrina and Max Factor Malaysia’s newly appointed ambassador, Lisa Surihani.

“Lisa’s personality showcases a connection to the brand that will bring a new spark of inspiration and help translate our newly repositioned brand vision. Her life story also relates closely to the #UnlockingRealWomen campaign, which makes this partnership all the more meaningful. We are thrilled to have her on board”, said Pink Fong.


Women are incredibly powerful in their own right but are often held to higher standards; expected to juggle multiple roles, excel at them all and be perfect throughout — all the while putting everything else before them. 

#UnlockingRealWomen seeks to explore the multiple roles that women have in family, society and industry and celebrates their strengths, unique abilities and unlimited potential. Ultimately, the campaign is all about celebrating women and their powerful life experiences, and a reminder that beauty goes beyond gender roles.


Totally agree with it! Mouse mommy is also having multiple roles and responsible either in work, family or personal life. 

Mouse mommy was excited to try out the Max Factor cosmetic range. The Max Factor liquid foundation is WOW me with 14 colour palettes that cater for different skin tone for ladies. Awesome! 


Lisa, Kavitha, Raja Nadia and Ling are the epitome of women who, despite their success, have been defined by societal roles and expectation as a public figure, mother and wife. They each have had their own aspirations growing up but due to their responsibilities and family commitments, have had to put their ambitions aside.


Lisa has had a successful career in the entertainment industry since young but has always wanted to be a dancer; Raja Nadia is a successful blogger and founder of her own fashion label but behind her busy lifestyle, she aspires to live a better, healthier life; Kavita’s career took off with her first Milo commercial at 15 years old before going to Paris to pursue a modelling career but dreams of becoming a singer; while jewelry designer and gemologist Ling worked hard every single day of her life to start her own jewelry line but longs to start a family and become the ultimate homemaker.

Watsons Malaysia’s Top Influencer Search Begin! Are You The One?



Asia and also Malaysia’s leading health and beauty retailer, Watsons Malaysia has just launched the search for Malaysia’s top influencer.


Watsons presents Malaysia’s Top Influencer Search campaign will start with the first challenge on 4th October, and participants will have to stay tuned to @watsonsmy & @ohbulanofficial Instagram and Watsons Malaysia & Ohbulan Facebook for the announcements of what the seven challenges will be before the finale.


The finale will then have one potential influencer to be selected and he or she will be groomed for the next 12 months to be the Watsons influencer. The participants will be mentored by none other than one of Malaysia’s top social influencers, Scha Alyahya who boasts a following of over 6 million followers on social media. Scha Alyahya will also be one of the panels of judges in the final selection of the participants.

“The mobile penetration rate in Malaysia makes up 132.9%, based on data from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission. While according to the 2017 Internet Users Survey, influencers could certainly reach Malaysian users, whose top online activities are text communication (96.3%), browsing social media (89.3%) and getting information (86.9%). Out of those who visit social networking sites, 97.3% have Facebook accounts, followed by Instagram (56.1%), says the survey. “The influencers’ storytelling and presentation skills including doing tutorial videos and postings for participating Watsons products, will be part of the judging criteria. Hence, at Watsons we wanted to give influencers a chance to share their photos and stories to give an authentic experience with our brand,” said Danny Hoh, Customer Director of Watsons Malaysia.

The grand prize winner for Watsons presents Malaysia’s Top Influencer will be take home RM10,000 cash, RM20,000 worth of Watsons points, RM10,000 worth of products from Watsons. Besides that, grand prize winner will be the official Watsons Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for a year, he or she will appear in a national Watsons television commercial, and also in Watsons billboards nationwide. Appear in videos on portals such as Oh Bulan!, Says, Vocket and more!


“I am looking forward to mentor and groom these influencers to be the next top influencer in Malaysia. It would be a great fun and memorable journey with the contestants and Watsons too!” said Scha Alyahya.

During the glamorous and exciting launch of Watsons presents Malaysia’s Top Influencer campaign, over one hundred attendees including key social influencers attended the event, where they were treated to some engaging social media activities, celebrity appearances, and entertainment with celebrity appearances. Present at the event were Caryn Loh, Managing Director of Watsons Malaysia, Danny Hoh, Customer Director of Watsons Malaysia, and Scha Alyahya one of Malaysia's Top female artiste. Other popular influencers in the event include Amber and Johanis.

Asia’s leading health and beauty retailer, Watsons, will once again hold its annual #GETACTIVE fitness festival this 27 October at Setia Alam, from 6am right through to 11pm! 

Opened to everyone, including kids, adults, families, teenagers and senior citizens, the #GETACTIVE fest promises to get you active and healthy, with many exciting health-related events and activities. Continuing the success of the previous year’s Watsons Move Your Body Zumba event, which was the largest Zumba gathering in Malaysia, this year the event hopes to garner more Zumba lovers to join in the fun!



Yoga enthusiasts will be in for a treat, as this year will be the introduction of Yoga in the Park, where it hopes to gather the largest number of yoga participants in the country! Aside from these main event highlights, the all-day long festival will also feature a bazaar featuring activities of different participating brands, along with lifestyle workshops, food trucks, an inflatable playground, wall climbing, food trucks and hot air balloon rides.


The #GETACTIVE Fest’s objective is to promote an active lifestyle to Malaysians through physical exercises in a fun yet simple way for Malaysians of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. The festival is part of the Watson’s #GETACTIVE campaign, a health initiative to further promote healthy living and positioning Watsons as the ideal healthy and beauty shopping destination, giving its customers an elevated shopping experience with a variety of brands and products. The event targets to draw in 25,000 participants this year.
