Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant | Sanitised Our Home Safely

As we are currently in the midst of the pandemic, hygiene is a topic of importance, especially when it comes to keeping our homes sanitised and germ-free. As a parents, mouse mommy also pay attention on household and kids’ hygienic.

Mouse mommy would like to share this Kleenso products post experience review. Mouse mommy uses Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant for general and daily use to clean up children’s table, mopping the floor, wipe off mobile phone and iPad. This disinfectant is safe and affordable, making it suitable for use at public and common areas.

The 500ml Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant comes with a spray nozzle that is convenient to use. To use, simply spray Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant onto the surface to disinfect and wipe the surface clean with a cloth after ten minutes.

Germs are microscopic bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa that can cause disease. They are active in areas with organic matter, salt and visible soil. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces can effectively remove them, therefore preventing and reducing the spread of disease.

Disinfection is a method using physical or chemical solution to eliminate most pathogens and disease causing microorganisms, while sterilization usually utilizes heat to kill all microorganisms.

Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant is formulated to kill 99.9% of germs. It is developed using pH neutral compounds, making it suitable for use on surfaces in the kitchen and dining areas.

Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant can also be used as a soak for cloth-based items. It can also be used on floors, by mopping it with a solution consisting of one cup of the disinfectant to four litres of water.

Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant uses Benzalkonium Chloride, a chemical compound that is proven to be highly effective against all kinds of bacteria such as E. Coli, Salmonella and Listeria, as well as most viruses including measles, influenza and rabies. Benzalkonium Chloride is used as the active ingredient in surface cleaning solutions developed by most commercial brands worldwide.

There are several ways that mouse mommy use Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant effectively:

GENERAL CLEANING:
Apply Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant with a cloth or sponge directly on the intended surface or spray the disinfectant on the surface. Leave the surface to be exposed for ten minutes, then wipe the surface with a clean damp cloth.

FOR SURFACES THAT MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH FOOD:
Applying Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant on the intended surface with a cloth or sponge, then rinse disinfectant off the surface with potable water.

CLEANING FLOORS:
Mix 1 cup of Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant to 4 litres of water and apply the solution to the floor with a mop.

TOILETS:
Squirt ½ cup of Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant on the inner sides of the toilet and toilet bowl rim. Then, brush the areas thoroughly before flushing.

TO DISINFECT CLOTH-BASED ITEMS:
Apply 2 caps of Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant to 2 litres of water. Soak the cloth in the solution for 3 minutes. Then, rinse it with water and leave it to dry at room temperature.

Disinfectants with high alcohol content are designed for use in critical areas such as hospitals. Due to the corrosive characteristics of these chemical compounds, they are recommended to be used only by trained personnel, wearing protective equipment such as gloves. Moreover, these disinfectants are costly and prohibited from being sold online as they are highly flammable.

External lab tests conducted on Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant reveals that when it is applied on surfaces containing 94 different groups of germs, it successfully eliminated all of these germs. This proves the effectiveness of the Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant.

Mouse mommy is feeling safe and happy to use Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant for our family to disinfect household items and safe to use.

Kleenso Kills Germs Disinfectant can be purchased from the Kleenso Online Store, as well as local retailers including Parkson, MR DIY, TF Mart and Family Store.

#KitaJagaKita Malaysia Communities in Need | Thank You #AyamWithYou Community Food Pantries Initiative

#KitaJagaKita While times are tough due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Malaysians are pulling together to support communities with kindness and trust, giving old methods such as communal food pantries an innovative spin.

The #AyamWithYou Food Pantry initiative, by Ayam Brand™ and 13 charity homes nationwide is helping charities, empowering them to help surrounding communities that are in need.

For example in the Anjung Singgah homeless shelter in Jalan Lekiu is leading the way for surrounding communities by managing the #AyamWithYou pantry in this area.

“We were concerned for the well-being of some families here especially during Ramadan and for Raya. We don’t have much, but they had less. We have been part of the Ayam Brand™ Community Care campaign in the past. This year Ayam Brand™ again provided our organisation with two months’ supply of their products for our residents, and suggested the food pantry or gerobok rezeki as a solution for the community. They have provided a weatherproof pantry and a separate stock of products that we can bless the community with,” said Anjung Singgah Yayasan Kebajikan Negara, operations officer, Encik Amir Rudin Bin Abdul Rahman.

The weatherproof pantry is set up outside the shelter so that social distancing is observed. It is open to the public round-the-clock. Staff and residents update the community about the food pantry through community groups on social media and messaging apps, and they top up the Ayam Brand™ products daily.

“We sent out messages by WhatsApp and Facebook that the food pantry items are free for those who need, while those who want to contribute can add dry foods, snacks, stationery, cleaning products and other essential items. The residents relish the responsibility of managing the food pantry and keeping it well-stocked. They get to practice kindness and generosity,” Encik Amir Rudin said.

Response to the initiative has been overwhelming with the daily allocation of Ayam Brand™ products such as tuna, baked beans, processed peas, canned pineapples and coconut milk snapped up quickly, and other essentials being added, with strong support from the community.

“Surprises have turned up at the food pantry including fresh vegetables, dates, baby formula, diapers and Raya cookies! We can feel the #KitaJagaKita closeness. The #AyamWithYou food pantry project has made this Raya very special by building stronger bonds of kindness, trust and support in our community, allowing us to contribute actively well-being,” he added.

Through its long-running Corporate Social Responsibility programmes Ayam Brand™ has contributed more than 2 million healthy meals for charity, providing nutritious food to more than 21,800 people from 524 charity organisations and NGOs over the past 12 years.

This year the brand has supported Covid-19 front liners at Hospital Sungai Buloh, 13 charity homes, the #AyamWithYou food pantry initiative, and the Anjung Singgah Kuala Lumpur Homeless Transit centre, with plans to support more organisations and communities.

“Covid-19 drastically changed our plans for the 13th annual Ayam Brand™ Community Care Campaign, but we see the positive impact of the #AyamWithYou Food Pantry initiative. It changes the narrative for our charity home partners, from being recipients to being contributors and donors in their respective communities. The community here has embraced the food pantry concept of ‘take what you need, leave what you can’ creating a virtuous cycle that is sustaining the initiative” said Ayam Brand Malaysia’s Marketing Manager, Nathan Deverre.

Ayam Brand™ staff have helped spread the word on the food pantry so that more can benefit or contribute, and started the ball rolling by being among the first to contribute non-food items to the pantry.

“Starting with our families and friends we sent out a list of necessities for the pantry. Those who could dropped off essential items at the pantry. The community are so willing and eager to help. They have shared the location of the pantry with those in need as well. All of us can help within our means,” said an Ayam Brand™ team member who lives in the area.

Go Green Effort ‘Plant A Tree, Grow A Forest’ Together By Botaneco Garden And Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur At Bukit Jalil

Plant A Seed, Grow A Forest! Let’s join Botaneco Garden as the nature-inspired personal care brand raises funds to plant Malaysian rainforest trees at selected locations within the Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) managed Taman Antarabangsa Bukit Jalil.

Throughout August 2019, one percent of all Botaneco Garden Product Sales from Guardian stores nationwide will be channelled to planting Malaysian rainforest trees with wide canopies to provide shade close to the main lake at Taman Antarabangsa Bukit Jalil.

This is the third consecutive ‘Plant A Tree, Grow A Forest’ annual environmental  initiative by Botaneco Garden, a nature-inspired personal care line is made from an innovative and sophisticated blend of botanical ingredients and eco-certified oils with a free from specific harmful chemicals that is safer for users and for the environment. The brand includes various hair and body care lines for adults as well as a line for babies and toddlers. It is available, nationwide, exclusively at Guardian, and at the Guardian e-store. There are more than 400 Guardian outlets nationwide.

The brand has partnered with DBKL, to support the council’s Towards 70 by 30 drive, which is in line with the Kuala Lumpur Low Carbon Society Blueprint 2030 which targets to reduce the city’s emission intensity by 70% by 2030

Increasing the number of trees planted is a step towards reducing emission intensity. Trees use the energy of sunlight, and through the process of photosynthesis they take carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air and water from the ground. In the process of converting it into wood they release oxygen into the air. In addition to the CO2 that trees capture, they also help soil capture significant amounts of carbon .

City parks helps to make nature more accessible to the public, and can help in promoting healthier and more active lifestyles. The Taman Antarabangsa Bukit Jalil is an ideal location for the Plant A Seed, Grow A Forest initiative as it is a popular recreational city park famed for its walking and jogging trails, lakes, themed international gardens including a dedicated area for people with disabilities, playgrounds and reflexology paths.

On weekends and during ‘wedding season’ it is thronged for bridal and nature photography. Families and animal lovers gather at the lakeside area to feed the fish and tortoises, while enjoying the scenery.

Mouse mommy and family love to have morning walk or run there during weekend too!

Funds collected via the Botaneco Garden Plant A Seed, Grow A Forest initiative will be channelled to plant selected Malaysian rainforest trees at the lakeside area to provide shade at the seating area to encourage people to stay longer to take in more of nature, while helping reduce carbon emission.

“Botaneco Garden is a nature-inspired personal care range and we are so pleased to be able to inspire people through nature via the Plant A Seed, Grow A Forest environmental initiative. Partnering with DBKL to plant rainforest trees at Taman Antarabangsa Bukit Jalil will help us get our message of loving and respecting nature to more people. We hope that our customers will support this initiative, and visit Taman Antarabangsa Bukit Jalil to see what they have contributed to,” said Ms Michelle Yeap, Marketing Manager, Health & Beauty, South East Asia Guardian Health & Beauty Sdn Bhd.

Botaneco Garden and DBKL are upping the engagement levels with the public for this campaign by crowdsourcing ideas on the Malaysian rainforest trees that will be planted at the site through the ‘Pick A Tree’ interaction on the Guardian Malaysia Facebook page, and the Botaneco Garden Instagram of mybotanecogarden

The five shortlisted trees are Diospyros pilosanthera (Kayu Arang), Shorea roxburghii (Meranti temak nipis), Hydnocarpus spp. (Setumpol), Dryobalanops aromatica (Kapur) and Parashorea densiflora (Gerutu Pasir).

“DBKL is steering Kuala Lumpur Towards 70 by 30 because conserving the environment is important to combat climate change, to improve quality of life within the city and by bringing more of nature into the city. We have 17 large city parks that we manage and operate so that there are green lungs and natural recreational pockets throughout Kuala Lumpur. We appreciate the effort by Botaneco Garden to raise awareness on the importance of planting trees to reduce carbon emission, and get more of the public engaged and invested in the type of trees being planted. We invite city dwellers to head to any of our city parks. We hope that you will be delighted by what you see, and be inspired to take small steps to reduce carbon emission in your life, starting with planting a seed to grow a forest,” said Norhaslinda Nordin, Director of Corporate Planning Department, DBKL.

In conjunction with the 62nd Merdeka celebration, Botaneco Garden will be offering 62% off the second product purchase, at all Guardian stores and on the Guardian e-store.

“We’re making it more attractive for consumers to support Botaneco Garden’s Plant A Seed, Grow A Forest environmental initiative with DBKL by offering this very special offer during the Merdeka month. We hope that through this effort we can celebrate Merdeka, while improving the environment and creating more appreciation of nature in Kuala Lumpur,’ said Ms Michelle Yeap in closing.

Let’s Plant A Seed, Grow A Forest together for a greener world!
