CYBEX delivers car seats, baby carriers and strollers to more than 100 countries, employing over 300 talented associates worldwide.

Since 2005, CYBEX has rebelled against the traditional approach to children's strollers, car seats, and accessories, focusing on design, functionality, and safety for fashion-conscious parents. Exclusive collaborations with designers such as Jeremy Scott and Lala Berlin have proven that CYBEX and fashion is the perfect match to build on the brands fashion story - demonstrating that fashion statements can be made with strollers and car seats.

The capsule collection’s slogan ‘Adults Suck Then You Are One’ transports the angelic to the adult, blending pop-art, fashion and humor. No More Limitation On Kids Creativity Via Nippon Paint Child Wellness Range !

Malaysia’s No. 1 coating solutions provider, Nippon Paint Malaysia Group (“Nippon Paint”) officially launched its Child Wellness Programme, an educational campaign aimed to empower today’s discerning parents and key decision makers towards creating uplifting environments for children, through various awareness and educational initiatives related to children’s health and wellness.

The Child Wellness Programme sees partnerships with national associations such as the Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA), the Malaysian Society of Allergy and Immunology (MSAI), Persatuan Pengasuh Berdaftar Malaysia (PPBM) as well as Persatuan Tadika Malaysia (PTM), working alongside medical practitioners and child care providers as key influencers to provide simple steps and expert advises for today’s discerning parents.

The Child Wellness Programme stems from Nippon Paint’s introduction of Malaysia’s first Child Wellness Range, a series of functional coatings that focuses on enabling clean air, safe touch and creativity in 3 key growth milestones respectively – infants, toddlers and children. Its paint solutions are water-based, lead and mercury free with low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) as well as Total Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC) emissions, which is safe for the environment as well as indoor spaces.

The Child Wellness Range leverages on the Active Carbon Technology which is designed to absorb harmful formaldehyde from the air, converting them into water vapour for cleaner air. Its range of solutions also contains the Silver Ion Technology that are able to mitigate the growth of viruses and bacteria from spreading through walls, effective against Influenza A (H1N1) and Coxsackievirus A16, which causes Hand Foot and Mouth Disease as well as other types of bacteria such as E. Coli, MRSA, and Staphylococcus Aureus. The range also includes Anti-Stain Technology, allowing parents the ease of mind for their children to express creativity because stains can be easily cleaned.

Speaking at the launch of the Child Wellness Programme, Gladys Goh, Group General Manager of Nippon Paint Malaysia Group said, “Innovation has always been in Nippon Paint’s DNA. In fact, we continuously listen to our consumers’ changing needs and realised that there is an untapped opportunity within the paint industry. That motivated us to develop a child-friendly range of coatings that allows us to create a safer, healthier indoor environment for young children. And while doing so, we are also rolling out the Child Wellness Programme in collaboration with various national associations to undertake awareness and education programmes to reach out to parents, child care centres and kindergarten owners and operators and the community in terms of provision of expert advice and information for them to make informed decisions regarding their children’s health and wellness.”

The launch event was graced by Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Sham Kasim, Past President of Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA) and Former Secretary General of Asia Pacific Paediatric Association (APPA); Dr Amir Hamzah Dato’ Abd Latiff, President of Malaysian Society of Allergy & Immunology (MSAI); Ms Norsheila Abdullah, President of Persatuan Pengasuh Berdaftar Malaysia (PPBM) and Ms Eveleen Ling, President of Persatuan Tadika Malaysia (PTM).

Speaking at a panel discussion session after the official launch, Dr Amir Hamzah explained, "With easy access to information via the internet, many parents today are equipped with their own 'digital doctor', by surfing on various websites to check on their children's symptoms and treatment options. However, this may result in misdiagnosing as there are many symptoms that may appear similar to various conditions. In addition to that, it may be challenging to verify the authenticity or credibility of the information provided. Thus, the Malaysian Society of Allergy and Immunology (MSAI) is pleased to collaborate with Nippon Paint on the Child Wellness Programme to provide expert advice to parents and key decision makers.”

Under the Child Wellness Programme, the partnership with MPA will see collaborative efforts in public outreach through seeding of expert and educational content, engagements with medical experts as well as roundtable sessions as provision of first line of advice to parents.

While Nippon Paint is collaborating with MSAI to highlight key information to raise awareness on indoor allergens in health-related issues via a web series on Nippon Paint’s Facebook platform and other engagements such as Facebook Live clinics, expert speaker series and expert roundtable sessions.

As part of the Child Wellness Programme, Nippon Paint will also play a vital role as an advisory panellist for both PPBM and PTM, participating in training sessions, workshops to educate child care providers, kindergarten operators on the importance of indoor environment for children. Nippon Paint will also provide advisory services on selection of colours and kids-safe coatings from its Child Wellness Range to facilitate an uplifting and safer indoor environment for children.

In partnering with various associations on the Child Wellness Programme, Goh concluded, Indeed, it is alarming to know that Malaysians are still at high risk for many health-related issues, especially amongst young children. As a total coatings expert with 50 years of presence in Malaysia, we have since grown in leaps and bounds and today we have come a long way to be where we are today. Thus, our strategy is to provide functional coatings that provides parents the peace of mind for safer indoor environment for their children.”

According to Malaysian Society of Allergy and Immunology, one out of three Malaysians suffer from some form of allergy, children from parents with allergies also stand a 50-80% chance of developing an allergy. Parents and child care providers may lack relevant knowledge on the importance of the role a conducive indoor environment plays for the development of children.

At a young age, infants spend most of their time in the crib breathing in twice the amount of air as compared to an adult. Thus, indoor air quality should not be taken lightly as infants spend up to 8-20 hours a day indoors.

This is fact and most of us do not realized including mouse mommy. That is the reason indoor air quality plays an important role for the whole family well-being.

As babies continue to grow and make their way into toddlerhood, children at this age develop the sense of curiosity in which, crawling, flipping over, touch, bite, feel would come into place. The potential of indoor health risks then increases as children are now exposed to various surfaces such as walls and floors that may contain viruses and bacteria.

Children below the age of 5 are the most vulnerable to viruses and bacteria such as HFMD. With diseases like HFMD and H1N1 that were endemic in Malaysia, there is a need to seed out relevant information to educate parents and child care providers on the importance of indoor environment as children spend most of their time either in a day care centre, school or at home.

Creativity through play is essential for the child’s mental and physical development as it helps to enhance cognitive skills as well as self-worth and self-esteem values. Safe indoor environment should be a priority for all, however, parents and child care providers should also look into ways to provide an uplifting, conducive environment to encourage creativity. 20% of Malaysian children suffer from stress and anxiety due to stifling of play as most parents or caretakers provide restricted access to the type of play avoiding some “forbidden” plays such as scribbling on walls.

Yes! Mouse mommy also interested in Nippon Paint Child Wellness Range as in I have two little creative artists at home. Mouse mommy does purposely bought them the white board wall stick and told them Only allow to craft their story on it. But, kids’ imagination always “beyond” the white board “box”, MR and MH not only draw on the white board wall pieces, but beyond the limitation and love to express themselves on our house’s wall itself too.

MR loves to do his mathematics calculation and drawing on the wall to express his creativity while the little baby MH loves to imitate his brother MR to ‘draft’ his artwork too! LOL!

Mouse mommy really grateful to have Nippon Paint Child Wellness Range come to help to ease my trouble. Mouse mommy can just wipe it off, hmm... maybe could ask MR help to do the cleaning task too. Mouse mommy feeling happy and my kids also getting excited too to let their creativity glows!

Lighthouse Children 'Learn Life Today' Together With KidZania CongreZZ Kids Via KidZania SportZ Caring CSR Project 2017!

KidZania CongreZZ 2017 organised its annual Caring Project which brought the spirit of unity alive in true Malaysian style by hosting a Sports Day event for the children of Lighthouse Children Welfare Home (Lighthouse). Held at Sports Planet Kota Damansara, both KidZania CongreZZ members and the children teamed up to participate in a variety of sports, games and activities.

A Corporate Social Responsibility effort by the CongreZZ members of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, this year, the Caring Project introduced activities from its variable programme KidZania SportZ 2017 in an effort to promote the spirit of sportsmanship and the thrill of healthy competition.

The Kidzania SportZ 2017 programme was very popular among kids at KidZania Kuala Lumpur, and we realised that there are many more kids who wouldn’t have been able to enjoy that, especially the underprivileged, so we decided to bring the programme to them instead,” said eight-year-old CongreZZ kid, Joshua Zhakaria.

“Through the Caring Project, KidZania CongreZZ members are given the responsibility to research, plan and organise a charitable initiative, which teaches them about time and project management. In addition, it instils the importance of helping others and contributing their skills and time to those less fortunate than they are,” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

“I am very proud of the CongreZZ kids to have chosen ‘sports’ for this year’s Caring Project. Personal experience shows that when we teach kids in a classroom, only a part of the information sticks, but introduce sports or an activity and you suddenly have yourself an alert and participative audience,” he continued.

The CongreZZ members and children from Lighthouse enjoyed a fun-filled day of Zumba, CrossFit, futsal and dodgeball sessions. Additional activities such as mini golf, archery, basketball and mini table tennis were also popular and the day came to a close with an upbeat and energetic send-off in the form of special performances by the CongreZZ members and KidZania Kuala Lumpur Artistic Team.

KidZania CongreZZ is a group of 20 children, from 7 to 12 years old, elected annually to govern KidZania Kuala Lumpur and providing input in decision-making processes, gathering every quarter to discuss topics that will benefit kids such as media, entertainment, education and literature, besides planning for events and initiatives such as the annual Caring Project for disadvantaged communities.

Over the past two years, previous CongreZZ members had hosted and visited with children from two different homes, organised a Mini Charity Concert and arranged an outreach session at an Orang Asli community where children were able to mingle and learn from each other about their different lifestyles.

Mouse mommy was happy that everyone was having fun and learn up some correct sport skills from CongreZZ kids. Mouse mommy was joining to fun with the children as well! A great effort of KidZania Learn Life Today and reach out the Lighthouse children.

Baby No More Blocked Nose With JoyKids Nasal Aspirator !

If there is one thing that can wreck any baby’s day it’s a blocked nose. Mouse mommy’s life will become upside down once baby MH start having flu and blocked nose because baby MH will become very cranky, crying out all day long and want me to hug at all time. This situation will become worse especially during nighttime and baby MH cannot even sleep.

Unfortunately, baby MH does not yet know how to blow his nose to clear it. Last month, baby MH having flu and lots of mucus from the nose makes him unable to breath. Baby crying make the situation become worse. Mouse mommy got no choice and has to bring baby MH rush to hospital. The pediatrician was quickly using suction tube to put in baby MH nose and suck the excessive mucus from the nasal. After few times of suction, baby MH nose path way was clear up and able to breath properly.

Doctor was prescribed medicine such as salbutamol syrup for baby. But, it does not work for baby MH. Saline nebulizer solution was working for my baby, but required to go to the hospital for once a day for the nebulizer inhalation and required to continuously for two to three days.

If I want to clear baby MH blockage, mouse mommy need to lend a helping hand. That is where a nasal aspirator comes in. There are two types of nasal aspirator, which are manual nasal aspirator and electric nasal aspirator.

Mouse mommy had try out the manual nasal aspirator by manually press and release to suck out the baby’s nasal mucus. But, the result was not good.

After that, mouse mommy was searching for a practical electric nasal aspirator that is essentially a small device that uses suction to draw snot from baby’s nose and works well.

Mouse mommy was found Joykids Nasal Aspirator that is suitable for baby from birth onwards to toddler age. Joykids nasal aspirator was incredibly easy to use, affordable and can have our baby breathing normally in as little as thirty seconds.

Joykids nasal aspirator requires no squeezing, sucking, or anything that remotely resembles manual labor. Just simply push the ON button, shove it up baby MH nose with gentle and wait for the snot to drain. The silicone head was superb soft and does not injure my baby nose. Baby MH was curious and comfortable with the Joykids nasal aspirator when mouse mommy put on the silicone head towards baby MH nose. Baby MH was not struggling when suction in action. Great to get to know this baby-friendly nasal aspirator!

Besides that, Joykids nasal aspirator was so considerate and prepares two units of different shape of silicone heads in the box. The triangle silicone head was designed to ease the suction and suitable for baby while the second design of balloon was designed for toddlers. It is exchangeable silicone heads for different usage. A set of Joykids nasal aspirator can be used along the growing phase of kids. Good!

MR was having some sticky mucus inside the nose last week and unable to sneeze out. Mouse mommy wants to use Joykids nasal aspirator to help MR to aspirate out the sticky mucus. MR was rejecting me and said that he already a big boy and he can D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) himself.

Surprisingly, MR can “help” his own and know “where” is the location of sticky mucus was and clear it up! Cool! Even a toddler MR was know-how to operate this Joykids nasal aspirator in right method.

The Joykids electric nasal aspirator provides continuous suction with two choices of suction power speed. It is easily remove mucus and boogies after using it. That stubborn booger that is holding on to baby MH’s nostril for dear life doesn’t stand a chance.

The mucus was accumulated inside the suction head of Joykids Nasal Aspirator !
While the suction of electric nasal aspirator is constant, it is not necessarily the strongest. Manufacturers seem to have deliberately put a limit on the amount of suction these aspirators can produce, and the suction cannot be adjusted. Probably so we do not suck baby’s brain out of the nose. As result of the weaker suction, electric nasal aspirator work best on thin and runny snot.

Joykids electric nasal aspirator can be charge at anywhere we want via USB charging system. A full 3 hours charge can be used for half a month. It is also made from safe material and non-invasive. The ergonomic design of Joykids nasal aspirator was easy to handle and easy to carry anywhere in our daily life.

Cleaning wise also simple and easy. Mouse mommy was just open up the silicone head, suction head and suction cup. After that, wash it with soapy solution and rinse off will do. Let it air dry or wipe it dry with cloth and resemble back.

Thank you Joykids nasal aspirator ease mouse mommy’s worries! Baby MH and MR also be a happy boys always!
