Healthy Eating With Alce Nero Organic Pasta For Kids

Practicing healthy eating from childhood is important. There are many reasons to start your kids on a healthy preferably organic diet from an early age.

The term ‘organic’ means that the food is a product of a farming system which avoids the use of man-made fertilizers and pesticides on the crops, feeding additives to the livestock, using radiation and genetically modified organisms[1].

Research points to the benefits of a balanced diet that includes certified organic foods as it is absent of chemicals from pesticides, that may affect the child’s developing body and brain.

While hormones and chemicals in responsibly grown non-organic food are small, research suggests that even low levels of pesticide exposure in an extended period of time can affect young children’s neurological and behavioral development, with evidence showing links between pesticide exposure to neonatal reflexes, psychomotor and mental development, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder[2].

Another reason of switching children to an organic diet is to reduce their exposure to organophosphates, a type of neurotoxicant pesticide that can cause significantly lower activity in the central and peripheral nervous system. It can be found in many commercially produced non-organic foods[3].

The case for switching over to a more organic diet especially for kids is strong. However, children have minds of their own and tend to like the chemically coloured, artificially flavoured snack foods and highly processed fast foods. Sigh.

One strategy that has worked for parents is to start them young on healthy eating so that they develop the taste for good food, if possible organic food.

This approach does require some creativity from parents but can result in children who have a preference for better, healthier food that can result in healthier food choices.

Alce Nero, a leader among eco-conscious and health conscious consumers is here to help stressed out parents start their little ones on a journey of delicious and healthy organic eating with its super cute and super good Organic Alphabet Pasta and Organic Vehicle Shape Pasta.

The brand’s farm-to-table concept is made possible by working with its network of organic farmers, making the produce much healthier. This new addition to the brand’s extensive line of authentic Italian organic produce is 100% organic certified by European Union law and by JAS organic agriculture in Japan.

Alce Nero’s Organic Pasta for kids includes dehydrated organic spinach green letters, and dehydrated organic tomato red letters. Kids enjoy the coloured letters, and will be so engaged sorting letters and colours before that they will eat them without making faces about the hidden vegetables.

Over time they will develop the taste for organic foods and lose their fear of vegetables, too!

Their minds will be stimulated and they will recognise letters too that can help with picking up reading skills. Eat healthy and get a head start on reading skills with Alce Nero Organic Pasta for Kids.

MR and MH love pasta with tomato sauce. Alce Nero has you covered for a kid-friendly organic meal just prepare Alce Nero Organic Alphabet Pasta according to the instruction, and the same time warm up Alce Nero Pasta Tomato Sauce in a pan.

Depending on your child’s tolerance for organic vegetables and proteins, add what he or she likes, then combine the pasta with the pasta sauce. Grate some cheese over this tasty meal and watch your child’s delight. Alce Nero Organic Pasta Tomato Sauce is so good, it can be all the flavour your organic pasta needs if you’re short of time.

MR and MH even ask mouse mommy to spare them some Alce Nero Alphabet Pasta for word search game. Glad that the kids like it and create an opportunity to learn spelling too!

Aimed to make meal time exciting again, parents can engage with their children by asking them to spell out words with the alphabet, or identify the different vehicles that the pasta comes in.

They will be so taken up with the activities that come with enjoying the Alce nero Pasta for Kids that can help them adopt to organic eating habits from a tender age, reinforcing the message that organic food is delicious and fun too!

Malaysian parents can use Alce Nero products with confidence as it is certified Halal by official certification bodies recognized by JAKIM.

Raikan Ramadan With Iftar Sesama At Bangi Golf Resort This Holy Ramadan Together!

Selamat berpuasa kepada semua muslimin dan muslimat. To give thanks for the arrival of Ramadan, Bangi Golf Resort (BGR) invites the public to celebrate this holy month by breaking fast together with loved ones at BGR Iftar Sesama.

Mouse mommy and family were having Iftar Sesama Ramadan Buffet feast review at Bangi Golf Resort.

A wide range of delicious food that available such as BBQ Lamb, Sous Vide Eggs with mushroom sauce, Carbonara spaghetti, Durian, Satay, Nasi kerabu, Ayam varuval, Daging kambing masak hitam mamak and variety of desserts.

Delicious dishes prepared by a group of experienced chefs are to be enjoyed not only with mothers, fathers, wives, children and other members of the family, but with friends and the underprivileged.

The main attraction for visitors is definitely the buffet selections with more than 200 types of food, from traditional Malay dishes which evokes memories of Mum’s cooking back in the village, to Western dishes for more modern palates.

The concept of a ‘Farm in the City’ is indeed significant and a source of pride for the BGR restaurant, featuring raw ingredients that are specially planted and harvested for Malay and traditional cuisine. Fresh vegetables or ulam-ulam ready to served.

Nasi Kerabu together with organic dishes curated by our chefs need to not go untasted, especially if eaten together with serunding, coconut fish, stir-fried sambal gravy, fish crackers, fried chicken with spices and additional dishes like bunga kantan, kobis bulat, king fish, selom leaves, long beans and flavoured with slices of lime and chillies. Even the Telang flowers that give the rice its blue colour also comes from our farm.

Must eat this nasi kerabu and you will love the taste! Kampung-style and nutritious. Mouse mommy was satisfied with each mouthful of the mixture of nasi kerabu!

To add to the excitement, this year visitors to the restaurant will be given the chance to pick some of the raw ingredients for the dishes straight from the tree. Does it sounds interesting?

The aroma of roast lamb on a slow-roasting spit on the fire and Mamak sup kambing is available exclusively throughout Ramadan.

There is also chicken and beef satay, as well as fried kuay teow and Mamak mee which are cooked in front of you.

Chicken rice is cooked to perfection with a special technique. The chicken is roasted just right with an Oriental BBQ sauce, giving a soft, succulent and juicy taste, while the rice is fluffy, glistening and full of flavour to be enjoyed with a rich soy sauce and homemade chilli sauce.

In the Indian cuisine section, chicken varuval, mackerel curry and mutton cooked in black sauce Mamak style is to be paired with steamed rice.

From the Western kitchen, your taste buds will be surprised with the taste of the Sous Vide eggs with freshly cooked Espuma mushrooms as well as pasta dishes such as spaghetti and penne with chicken bolognaise or carbonara sauce.

All of the traditional Malay, Western, Eastern and Indian dishes are in the main buffet at the Garden Terrace, including the section for stalls and ‘live stations’ where food is cooked right in front of you.

Meanwhile, it’s meaningless to break fast without sweets and delicious desserts.

A row of desserts is prepared at the Iftar Sesama buffet. Among them are Spanish Churros with rich chocolate sauce, Italian tiramisu, and a selection of Malay kuih including kuih lapis, talam koko, cendol, kasui pandan, apam mekar, koci, pandan, baked green kuih, yellow meat rendang pulut, coconut serunding pulut, pulut inti, putri ayu and lopez pulut.

MR and MH love to eat Spanish Churros dip with chocolate. Kids’ favourite!

In addition to the menu, also available are Bandung lychee cheese cake, pina colada cheese cake, blueberry crème brulee cake, red velvet Swiss roll, orange Jaffa Swiss roll, purple velvet and cream cheese Swiss roll, green tea cheese cake, caramel blueberry filling cake, chocolate cake with choco cream, chocolate cake with peanut cream sweet potato with tam, caramel mousse, G3 mousse, pandan gula Melaka mousse, cendol mousse, Ong Lai mousse, purple velvet yogurt and Oreo cheese cake.

Thirst quenchers are mango cordial, grape cordial, sugar cane, soy rose, flower tea, teh tarik, coffee and tea, as well as fruits.

Eating Iftar Together Truly, it’s not just the breaking fast buffet but several other good things that are implied at the BGR Restaurant Iftar Sesama, like fellowship and togetherness.

For those who wish to partake of the delicacies on offer, BGR Restaurant will donate 1% of its profits throughout this Ramadan al Mubarak to the Islamic Relief Malaysia fund. Thanks BGR Restaurant for supporting the charity force!

Through this contribution, it is hoped that the organisation will be empowered to hold more charitable activities, in particular those held to help the less fortunate.

In fulfilling our promise to always replenish the dishes served and to ensure a constant supply of food at the buffet table throughout the event, we are also working to implement a zero waste concept.

Mouse mommy is totally agree that we can savour delicious food, but food waste is always no-no.

Take the portion that we can eat and the best part about Ramadan Buffet is you can always top-up and eat the food that you loved.

In order to do that, BGR Restaurant will work together with the Food Aid Foundation, to donate and save any surplus of food from the Ramadan buffet to give to those in need.

Not only that – throughout this Ramadan, BGR Restaurant will also create an Iftar Sesama contribution box for the people who want to donate food and clothing to the underprivileged, something that no restaurant has previously done before.

A truly value for money BGR Ramadan Buffet! Of course, food and beverages also yummy and worth to dine in with family, friends and corporate Ramadan gathering.

Certainly, apart from the virtue and rewards acquired from attending, your money’s worth is also guaranteed as the Iftar Sesama at BGR Restaurant promises a gastronomic delight of a buffet that offers a wide variety of fine and sumptuous dishes.

Just like in previous years, once again we are offering over 200 deluxe dishes from the Malay, Western and Eastern kitchens. The price offered for online bookings at the website https://www.bgrrest.com/product/buffet-ramadhan/ starts from as low as RM59.00nett for adults and RM29.00nett for children.

In anticipation of greater numbers of visitors this Ramadan, our team have also made various preparations for the comfort of guests. This includes additional suraus and renovated restrooms.

The surau has been made more spacious in order to accommodate a larger congregation comfortably while avoiding long queues. The restrooms have had five to sixteen cubicles added and have been upgraded to 5 star facilities. In addition, 800 free parking lots have been prepared for guests to avoid congestion.

Meanwhile, during the BGR Ramadan Menu Preview event, guests comprising members of the media and bloggers were entertained by a durian cutting competition and entertainment by local artistes.

Special thanks to our sponsors who made Iftar Sesama at BGR a memorable one, Photobooth by Feteandfiesta @photobombkl, Durians by Durian Hill @durianhill_official
