The First social media influencer workshop was organised and conducted by SushiVid, a platform connecting brands to social media influencers. Crunch Content Creators was supported by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to encourage branded content creation in less conventional media channels such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Blogs.

Brands such as Hermo, b.liv, Havaianas, Lazada, MILO Nutri Up, BLU, JBL, ZICO coconut water, Monster Energy drinks and TagBooth happily sponsor the workshop event and be one of the social media marketing strategy campaigns.

Present at the workshop, MDEC's VP of Creative Content and Technologies Hasnul Hadi Samsudin said that its focus has always been about growing Malaysia's digital economy and the new media space. "We would like to support and create a complete New Media community that will learn and leverage on each and other, and hope they will utilise platforms like SushiVid to fuel their growth together," said Hasnul.

SushiVid chief executive officer Foong Yuh Wen said SushiVid's vision is to enable those who want to become a content creator and become a successful onw. Foong said that SushiVid had successfully paid out RM293,000 to long-tail influencers in the span of 10 months. SushiVid would like to includes new blogger integration in the future plans and introduction of a monthly pricing plan for brands that want to engage in influencers marketing.

Foetus International group executive chairman Tan Sri Vincent Lee together with Hasnul officiated the workshop followed by a sharing session by Roberto Mata, Head of Online Marketing, Lazada on how they have been collaborating with social media influencers in their marketing campaigns. Comedian YouTubers Vikneswaran Veerasundar (Vikarworld), Adam Shamil and Taneshh shared on their experience working with brands and creative process in creating fun and interesting content while maintaining authenticity.

Coming from a faraway beach land, she wanders into the city in her flowy, comfy loose-fitting outfits. Her happiness is infectious – and it shows in the way she dresses. Featuring flared silhouettes, ruffles, cheerful stripes and heart-shaped prints, the collection flaunts the beach girl’s confidence in her own skin with transparent details and cut-outs.

Hazzer Wan Lee, creative director of HWL by Hazzer Wan Lee Fashion Atelier Kuala Lumpur, graduated with a degree in Fashion and Apparel Design from Herriot-Watt University, Scotland. Hazzer’s fashion collection is inspired by the water splash -- a signature of Neutrogena® Deep Clean range of cleansing products, and the first step to Happy Skin 24/7! Fluid lines and cascading layers come together to bring out the beauty and energy of water in hues of blue, green, orange and pink. Sweet Mother's Day Celebration With Family At Dorsett Grand Subang!

Happy Mother's Day !
Mouse mommy loves to eat delicious foodies. Mouse daddy was cracked his head to think where should we go to celebrate Mother's Day 2017. After a short discussion with MR, we decided to go Dorsett Grand Subang to celebrate Mother's Day cum family day out together! Ah...ha... MR was happy and exciting with the Easter Fun Day Out last time and wanted to revisit again!

Once we reach Dorsett Grand Subang and we will welcomed by the host and bring us to our seats. MR was Wow by the helium filled balloons when we are in. The Mother's Day decoration was in lovely yellow, purple, pink and white helium gas filled balloons and each of the table served a fresh carnation flower. Feeling warm and homely!
Happy and cheerful mood ON!
Time to search for yummilicious food! MR request for his favorite mushroom soup, but only cauliflower soup available. MR normally not really fancy cauliflower. Mouse mommy try to grab him a cauliflower soup and surprisingly he likes it and finished the whole bowl with rice. MR also request for a second bowl of cauliflower soup...yum..yum... Baby MH loves to eat the beef bolognese spaghetti with butter fish fillets. There are many choices of the Dorsett Grand Subang Mother's Day Buffet Lunch that suitable for family gathering, from Western to Asian style of dishes. Nasi beriani lamb, beef bolognese spaghetti, butter fish fillets, roaster lamb shoulder, multiple ingredients of steamboat, ulam-ulam, cold dishes, 'ais kacang', 'bubur cha-cha', buns, fruits, ice cream, desserts and cakes. So thoughtful of the Chef!

Cream Brulee Dessert - Mouse mommy's really fancy it!
The waitress was lovely that prepare us a baby chair with plastic baby cutlery sets for dine in. The kids can play with their helium filled balloons to keep them in their seats. Mouse mommy loves the most was the cream brulee dessert, looks simple dish, but eventually it taste pretty nice! Cheesy with smooth texture of the cream. Perfect match! Mouse daddy was hunt for his roasted lamb shoulder and his favorite chocolicious dessert and cakes. The foods was presentable and delicious to eat. Mouse mommy happy that we are enjoying ourselves!

Besides that, we are invited to join the Mother's Day activities that specially design for mom and children. The first game that mouse mommy join with MR was mommy guess the fruit drinks that blend by child. Ops! never play this game before... haha!! MR choose the celery, white cauliflowers and tomato and blend it himself for mommy to drink and taste it out. The drinks was taste nice! Haha!! But, mouse mommy guess it wrongly. Nevermind, try again next time. Hehe! Thanks for the lovely drink for mommy. Mouse mommy asked MR that what was the ingredients that he choose of. MR said I choose vegetable drinks for mommy that inclusive of celery, white cauliflowers and tomato. My little health conscious MR!

Mommies, time to make a "guess" of your special custom made drinks!

We want to DIY a drink that special for our mom!
The second activity was make flowers by using recyclables items such as newspaper or magazine. Everyone was creative and busy in cutting, forming and decorating their handmade flowers. In 15 minutes, all the hand crafts flowers forms. This activity really brain storming mommies and children as in need to create our own handmade flowers. Mouse mommy and MR had used the magazine paper to make paper rose flowers and small pearl lily flowers. There are prizes giving for these two activities winners. Congratulations for the winners! Mouse mommy and MR do not won any prizes. "Nevermind, try again next time" said by MR. So sweet of my little boy! You are my biggest prize in mouse mommy's heart!

TOP Pass It On Community Campaign | Share Clothes | Share Love

The TOP Pass It On community campaign has received overwhelming response from the Malaysian public, resulting in a mammoth collection of 5,046 quality pre-loved clothes. The Minister of Women, Family & Community Development, Dato’ Sri Rohani Abdul Karim officiated the grand finale of the campaign which included the handover of some of these ‘micro-cleaned’ clothing items to representatives from four Klang Valley community organizations at MYDIN Mall USJ, here today.

The TOP Pass It On community campaign is believed to be among the largest initiatives to collect, sort and professionally launder pre-loved clothing items that have been gently used, in Malaysia.

This community campaign by TOP aimed to give more people the opportunity to experience the new breakthrough innovation of TOP Micro-Clean Tech that delivers the Next Level of Clean that removes both visible and invisible stains.

The campaign saw TOP collect and sort pre-loved clothes given by the public, have them professionally laundered by Regional Laundry using TOP Micro-Clean Tech to revive, renew and refresh them, before passing them to the community.  The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development will gift the clothes to those who can benefit from them.

A total of 30 community organisations will receive the micro-cleaned pre-loved clothing from the nationwide mass contribution exercises organized by TOP from March 7 to May 18, 2017  in the Klang Valley, Kuala Terengganu, Penang, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah.

Dato’ Sri Rohani Abdul Karim commended TOP for its efforts in enabling a platform for communities to assist and empower their members, with a strong element of environmental conservation through the emphasis on sustainability while promoting the importance of a cleaner, happier and healthier lifestyle.

It is economically beneficial to communities while being environmentally friendly as well,” YB Dato’ Sri Rohani said.

“This is the type of private-public-people campaign that the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development is implementing to help more people, while building awareness among the public that there is much that they can contribute that is of benefit,” YB Dato’ Sri explained.
