VE Hotel & Residence’s Dendang Ramadan Buffet Dinner will feature an extensive selection of dishes that showcase the best of Malaysian cuisines and a sprinkle of international favourites.

Guests can look forward to fresh seafood appetizers, made-to-order claypot dishes and eight action stalls.

With over 82 selections on offer, there is something for every palate.

This year’s buffet line-up features a variety of hearty Ramadan favourites such as Daging Kurma Kasturi Berkentang, Beef Rib Soup and Briyani Kambing.

The Western section on the other hand, boasts delectable dishes such as Roasted Ribeye, Lamb Navarin, Beef Medallion, to name a few.

Dendang Ramadan’s Special Selections:

Fresh Seafood Appetisers

This year’s buffet offers a daily selection of the freshest Prawns, New Zealand Mussels, Slipper Lobster, and Oysters. Guests can indulge in these succulent and flavourful seafood delicacies, served fresh and chilled to perfection. A range of popular pre-made salads and Ulams will also be available for guests who prefers a healthier start.

Made-to-order Claypot

Guests can customise their own claypot dishes by choosing their preferred ingredients which are then cooked fresh on the spot. The hotel's claypot dishes include favourites such as Asam Pedas Muar, Masak Lomak Cili Api Negeri Sembilan, and Chicken, Beef or Seafood Tom Yum, all on rotational basis.

8 action stalls

Spread across the al-fresco dining area, surrounding the main water feature in front of the restaurant, guests can stroll leisurely across the spacious outdoor while waiting for their food to be ready.

Highlights include, Mee Bandung Tulang Rusuk Muar, Roasted Whole Lamb, TeoChew Fish Head Noodles or Hainanese Chicken Rice, Chicken Shawarma and Churros.

"The dishes are inspired by our own family recipes. Many of us are from different states of Malaysia and we wanted to bring a little bit of our hometown to you through the dishes we’ve prepared," says Chef Izan Najib, the Executive Chef at VE Hotel & Residence. ".

Our kitchen is also certified-halal by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) so guests can dine with peace of mind, knowing that the food they consume is halal and of the highest quality.

Komune Living's Ramadan Buffet | Juadah Buka Puasa With Authentic Local Specials

Komune Living, located in the vibrant neighborhood of Bangsar South, is set to make its mark on the Buka Puasa buffet scene this year.

This will be the hotel’s first Ramadan event and its main objective is to offer the community an unforgettable dining experience by providing exceptional food, welcoming hospitality at budget-friendly prices.

The Chefs at Komune Living has been working diligently to create a diverse and delicious menu, utilizing traditional spices and fresh local ingredients to ensure taste and authenticity.

The menu will include a range of iftar must-haves such as Ayam Percik Kelantan, Daging Dendeng as well as a selection of appetisers and desserts which are rotated on a weekly basis.

Beyond the indoor buffet spread, guests can explore live-action stalls preparing local favourites such as Chicken or Beef Satay, Murtabak, Grilled Lamb Shoulder and more.

These stalls offer an interactive dining experience, where guests can watch their food being prepared right in front of them. This adds an extra element of excitement to the overall dining experience at Komune Living.

The mastermind behind this year’s buffet theme and menu is none other than the hotel’s outlet Chef, Chef Muhammad Syah Osmat and his team.

"We wanted to honor the traditions of Ramadan while offering our guests something fresh and exciting," says Chef Syah.

"We're confident that our guests will love the variety of flavors and dishes we've prepared. To add on, Komune Café’s kitchen is also certifiedhalal by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
