IFLIX Unveils Exciting New Content For Southeast Asia !

iflix, the world’s leading Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD) service for emerging markets, today unveiled its exciting new localized content plans with huge local content tent poles focusing on first-run local movies direct from cinema and a bold slate of original programming.
Following on increasing demand from audiences for more local films, iflix is working with the region’s best producers to bring subscribers their favourite local movies straight out of cinema to stream or download exclusively on iflix. The company recently signed a first-look multi-year output deal with Skop Productions Group (Skop) and Viper Studios Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s leading independent studio and creator of some of the country’s most iconic and successful box office hits, including Munafik, KL Gangster and Villa Nabila. The agreement will make many of the studio’s library classics available on iflix for the first time. In addition, highly anticipated upcoming films will be exclusively available directly following their cinema release. iflix subscribers can look forward to big budget action spectacle, KL Special Force just 20 days after the film completes its cinema run. As part of the companies' collaboration, iflix will also commission Skop to produce an exclusive new mini-series, to be announced.
The company is pleased to announce, that in partnership with Screenplay Productions, the studio behind iflix exclusive hit movies, I Love You from 38,000 feet and Promise, it has commissioned its first major original drama series, Magic Hour. The eight-part romantic teen drama, will be a sequel to the 2015 box-office hit film of the same name – Indonesia’s fifth highest grossing film that year. The movie’s twin leads Dimas Angarra and Michelle Zuidith, two of the country’s hottest young stars will reprise their roles in the series. The project is a first, by both companies to spin off a movie franchise into a premium short-run exclusive miniseries.

iflix has additionally commissioned edgy, no holds barred comedy series, Oi!Jaga Mulut (Malaysia) / Huy! Bibig Mo (Philippines) / Oi! Jaga Lambe (Indonesia). Roughly translated as “watch your mouth”, the audacious, new uncensored multi-territory stand-up comedy format will be filmed in front of a live studio audience in each country and published as its own local show. The original eight-part series is a bold experiment showcasing the kind of humour previously only heard in comedy clubs, featuring both established and promising new trail blazers in the raw, rude and downright hilarious underground comedy scenes. The series will be hosted by comedic icons Haniff Hamzah in Malaysia, Ramon Bautista in the Philippines and Ananda Omesh in Indonesia.

Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) Support & Celebrate The Strong Breast Cancer Survivors With Anbatax !

Sempoi Charity Fun Walk @ KL Bird Park I Fun I Charity I Bonding I Community

The fun walk will be held on the 13th May 2017, Saturday @ KL Bird Park. This is organised by Sempoi Charity in collaboration with the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park as co-organizer & venue sponsor and #AboutKL to raise funds for charity. The General Manager of Kuala Lumpur Tourism Bureau, Encik Khairul Anuar Bin Md. Juri was present at the announcement to lend his support towards the event.

This is a fun and knowledgeable fun walk that children can have quality bonding time spend with parents and expose to learning opportunity to get to know different type of birds species. Of course! This Sempoi Charity Fun Walk also expose the children to the role play in the community as giving back to the community such as joining charity programme and so on.
Sempoi Charity Fun Walk @ KL Bird Park is a first of its kind public fundraising event. The walk aims to bring together 2000 participants to the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park in a bid to raise funds for charity whilst creating awareness on the importance of preserving nature, its diverse flora and fauna especially birds and promote a healthy, active and fulfilling lifestyle for city dwellers through a fun walk. According to President of Sempoi Charity, Mr Mike Manicka, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is an apt venue for the fun walk as it houses a wide species of birds native to Malaysia in a lush natural setting right in the heart of the city.

In addition, the fun walk also serves as a ready platform for corporate companies to make corporate contributions as part of their CSR initiative. Companies can help raise funds by taking up various sponsorship opportunities available including sponsorship of participation for children from homes and orphanages. In his speech, Mr Mike Manicka, President of Sempoi Charity urged corporate companies and individuals to come forward and support the fun walk to hand in hand raise funds and make a difference for the betterment of the community as a whole.
The objective of the fun walk is predominantly to raise funds for charity. Sempoi Charity hopes to raise enough funds to support three (3) of its new initiatives this year. Funds raised through the fun walk will be channelled to JKOASM (Jaringan Kampung Orang Asli Malaysia) for their educational outreach programmes. JKOASM is a NGO made out entirely of volunteers working with the Orang Asli community.

Some of their educational outreach programmes includes women’s empowerment workshops, youth leadership workshops and basic computer skills training to help the Orang Asli community to obtain basic skills, knowledge and confidence to be self-sufficient. Funds will also be used to support Sempoi Sahur – a street feeding programme to feed the homeless and destitute living on the streets of Kuala Lumpur during the month of Ramadhan and SC Cares for Kids through a graffiti mural art project at various schools for disabled children. Sempoi Charity aims to raise RM15,000 to benefit JKOASM, feed and provide toiletry kits for 500 homeless individuals and paint 3 graffiti murals at schools for disabled children.
