Blessing MYDIN - SJ ECHO Chinese New Year Open House 2018 !

Mydin USJ and SJ Echo was celebrating Chinese New Year open house to the community together with the 24 vendors such as 100plus, Nestle, Ah Huat Coco, Choki-choki and many more.

There's performance and fire crackers hanging at front of the MYDIN USJ. This year 2018 is the 6th yeah of MYDIN USJ co-operate with SJ ECHO, it is local newspaper for the Subang Jaya community to celebrate the Chinese New Year Carnival together with 20 old folks from Rumah Victory Puchong.

Thanks for Mydin USJ corporate social responsibility program that giving back to community and old folks as well. Total of 20 old folks from Rumah Victory Puchong also received angpao and goodie bags sponsored by Mydin USJ wishes that senior citizen are in good health always.

Many shoppers have come to shopping at MYDIN USJ, there'll be lucky draw for lucky shoppers who had spend RM88 in a single receipt, the shoppers had to put the receipt with their particular to box at the information counter of MYDIN from 2 March 2018 to 9 March 2018 at 7pm. Exciting lucky draws for the lucky shoppers to win!

The night was happening till 11pm as there's lucky draw for shoppers and performances. MYDIN SJ ECHO 2018 with attendance of YB Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Subang Jaya is also a Speaker Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Selangor dan YB Wong Chen, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Kelana Jaya. At presence also representatives from Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) like Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ), Police Daerah Subang Jaya, Bomba & Penyelamat Daerah Subang Jaya and media and guests.

Yee Sang tossing brings good luck and good fortune to everyone in health and wealth, there are 24 vendors that set up their stalls front of the MYDIN USJ serving variety of food and beverages namely Yong Tau Foo, Char Kue Tiau, Orange juice, Dim Sum, Fried Bihun, Fried Rice, 100 plus, Ah Huat Coco, Chicken Rice, Laksa, Bubur Cha Cha, and many more. In the night, Angeline Wong was singing 3 songs to entertained the public, she was winner of Industry Music (AIM) 2016 at the Best Female Category. There's also drum performance in the night. Celebrate Spring Festival With Joys At IOI City Mall!

IOI City Mall Putrajaya Welcomes this Chinese New Year with the Splendours of Spring ushering in the Lunar New Year of the Earth Dog. Inspired by the multicolours of Spring and the many facets of life these colours represent, IOI City Mall brought to life a giant kaleidoscope in a shape of a tunnel for all to walk through to experience first-hand its breath-taking prism of colours reflective of the joys and celebration of the Lunar New Year.

This prism like installation uses sheets of mirrors to create the effect of being inside a giant kaleidoscope. Together with our Kaleidoscope Tunnel is our Tree of Life in celebration of life on this beautiful land of abundance. This Tree of Life rotates 360° on its axis to celebrate Growth and Prosperity.

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, IOI City Mall recently hosted an outing for 33 seniors age ranged from 50 to 80 years old together with their 9 guardians from Rumah Amal Murni Kajang and Little Sister of The Poor.

Brought in by Asian Overland Services Convention and Exhibition(AOSCE) in their tour bus. The group was treated with a movie “Bleeding Steel” starring Jackie Chan at Golden Screen Cinema. The seniors comprise of both able and physically challenged were given personalised attention throughout their visit by their guardians and the mall’s team. Treated as VIP’s they enjoyed live performance of Acrobatic Lion Dance by Kwong Ngai Lion Dance Group from Kuala Lumpur at Lower Ground Floor Centre Court.

After the nearly half and hour performance they were presented Ang Paos individually by the mall’s General Manager, Mr. Chris Chong followed by bags of gifts by HomePro and Tesco, presented by their General Manager Madam Shirley Tham and Store Manager Madam Nita respectively.

The guest were then escorted for a Chinese New Year 6 course reunion dinner at Le Mei Chinese Restaurant hosted by Le Meridian Hotel. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious meal which started with the auspicious Salmon Yee Sang. The Managing Director of AOSCE & AOSTT Mr. Andrew Wong and Ms Yap Sook Ling were in attendance.

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Mouse mommy and family were happy to have a feast of Chinese New Year (CNY) round table to have “Lou Sang” together with family and friends!

In the run-up to the Chinese New Year, Silka Cheras and Silka Maytower Chef de Cuisine Lee Soon Seng (Chef Lee) has been cooking up a storm to come up with fabulous dishes and food-and-beverage offers for guests and visitors alike. Chef Lee was a humble and experience Chef in cooking.

This year, Chef Lee lends his personal touch in preparing traditional favourites such as Braised Seafood with Crab Meat and Dried Scallop Soup, Deep Fried Garoupa with Sweet and Sour Sauce and Oat Tiger Prawns.

Silka hotels offer three combinations of traditional Chinese New Year favourites to cater to an
array of taste buds in this CNY. Golden Treasures - RM 788 nett per table of 10 persons ,

The juicy steam fish that baby MH loves to eat.

Braised Tau Kan and Mushrooms with Broccoli was my favourite dish every year as in mouse mommy loves to eat mushroom. The dish that served was good and not salty. Suitable for baby and senior citizen.

Seafood Fried Rice with Chicken Ham was looks simple dish, but surprisingly it taste nice.

Deep Fried Garoupa with Sweet and Sour Sauce - crunchy and the sweet and sour sauce was nicely blend too.

Lotus Pancake with Mochi - the lotus pancake was nice to eat together with Lotus
Seed Lily Bulb with Red Bean dessert.

Lotus Seed Lily Bulb with Red Bean (Hot) was delicious! Red bean paste was well blend and taste smoothly. Perfectly match with the fresh lily bulb! Mouse mommy loves it so much and had taken 3 bowls of it. Highly recommended!
