Antabax, the number 1 Halal antibacterial personal care range[1],
has teamed up with Sinar FM, the station that ‘brightens your life’, Malaysia’s
number 2 Malay station, on a throwback to the traditional Malay art form of rhyming
quatrains, or ‘pantun’ that will put the spotlight on hand hygiene, this
Ramadan season. Sounds interesting!
The Buka Puasa Sinar Bersama
Antabax contest will offer 20 witty rhymers & three of their nearest
and dearest the opportunity to break fast with Sinar FM deejays Salih Yaccob &
Feeya at an exclusive event at Restaurant Istana Bambu, Ampang. Winners will
also receive RM150 in cash and product Antabax for their skillful replies.
The contest will run for two weeks from June 5 to June 16, 2017, twice a
day between 10am to midnight. There will be two winners each day from Monday to
Friday, for a total of 20 winners.
The mechanics are simple; complete the remaining two lines of a four
line pantun with the first two lines being the chorus of Antabax’ catchy hand
hygiene song; Gosok-gosok di tapak
tangan, Gosok-gosok di celah jari… Start preparing your replies now so that
they’re dazzled with wit and wisdom.
To Sinar FM and MY FM listeners in the Klang Valley, their radio cruisers
will be distributing handy pocket-sized Antabax antibacterial wipes and shower
cream for better hygiene, with or without access to water. Tune in to Sinar FM and MY FM to know the location of
the cruisers to get your Antabax on-the-go!
According to Ms Mandy Lee, Senior Brand Manager, Household & Personal
Care Department, Marketing Division of Lam Soon Edible Oils Sdn Bhd said that
Antabax understands the needs of busy people who want to maintain their health
and hygiene while on-the-go, especially during Ramadan and Hari Raya.
“Antabax is the number 1 Halal antibacterial personal care range in
Malaysia. We understand our customers’ behavior, and know that they lead active
lifestyles, even during Ramadan. This is why we are giving out essentials such
as full-size antibacterial wipes for cleansing without water, and sample size
shower cream for cleaning with water,” Ms Lee said.
“While being a 21st Century Malaysian brand, we are also
focused in preserving the rich heritage of art forms such as pantun, and have
added a fun twist that links it back to our brand, as a reminder on keeping
clean and healthy during Ramadan and Raya. We know that many of our users enjoy
the music on MY FM and Sinar FM, and the personalities of Sinar deejay Salih Yaccob
& Feeya, which is why part of their prize is to break fast with these role
models,” Ms Lee added.
According to Puan Rasidah Kashim, Content Manager, Sinar FM, feedback
from listeners during Ramadan indicates that while all look forward to breaking
their fast, some find it difficult to get home or to an eatery in time for
Iftar, and need to break fast in their cars, or even on public transport.
“The need is real, especially during Ramadan for an on-the-go sanitizing
solution, and Antabax has made it happen. Sinar FM is proud to collaborate with
Antabax on a program that is fun and educational, while rekindling interest in
the rhyming pantuns,” said Puan Rasidah.
