The moment the evening call to prayer echoes, guests will discover a carefully curated journey through the archipelago's richest flavours and be welcomed by the sight of glistening fresh Seafood on Ice, setting the stage for an unforgettable iftar experience. 



The beloved (and our Ramadan StarGear Box Soup, is simmered for hours until the marrow melts into a rich, aromatic broth that offers the perfect beginning to break one's fast. 



While the buffet's crown jewel is its selection of Steamed Fish, featuring premium catches like threadfin, white pomfret, and tilapia. 


 

"Ramadan is a time of reflection, gratitude, and coming together. Our Aroma Nusantara buffet is crafted to honour these values through a feast that speaks to both the heart and palate," says Sous Chef, Shabani Md Akhir, whose team has masterfully woven together the threads of tradition and innovation. 



Another must-try is the Roasted Baby Lamb, that perfectly spiced and tender, showcasing flavours passed down through generations. Comes together with Mandi Rice, as well as Chicken Shawarma.

 

No detail has been overlooked in this culinary tapestry, from the smoky aroma of  Chicken and Beef Satay to the rainbow of traditional kuih-muih that brightens the dessert section. 



Nearby, the nostalgic crackle and sizzle of Goreng-Gorengan stations fill the air that evokes memories of Ramadan bazaars with the irresistible freshly fried banana fritters and crispy sweet potato wedges.

 


Live cooking stations also bring an exciting touch to the experience, as chefs turn fresh ingredients into delicious creations right in front of guests.

The Emperor Chinese Restaurant is all set to usher in the Lunar New Year of The Wood Snake. 



Even though the Lunar New Year officially kicks in on 29th January 2025, the spirit of Gong Xi Fa Cai is already making its mark.




From 27th December 2024 until the 15th day of the 2025’s Lunar New Year, the culinary maestros at The Emperor led by Executive Chinese Chef Lee Soon Seng have curated three specialty menus, each one featuring time-honoured dishes that promise to tantalise tastebuds and elevate one’s dining experience.
  

Prosperity Salmon and Abalone Yee Sang wish you and family a Prosperity All Year Around.


Treasured Tastes set menu priced at RM1,988 nett per table of 10 persons offers an abundance of joyous indulgence: from double-boiled chicken soup with fresh ginseng to promote one’s good health, succulent wok-fried tiger prawns with golden oats symbolic of laughter all year through to bountiful wealth represented by the traditional dish of braised dried oyster, black moss, mushroom with broccoli, and to many more wonderful palate pleasers.




Wok-fried Tiger Prawn with Kam Heong Sauce to wish you and family having laughter and happiness in year 2025!



Priced at RM2,388 nett per table of 10 persons, the Golden Blessings Menu is a 9-course grand feast in itself. 



The entire menu offers nothing sort of pure indulgence with course after course of lavish dishes – from double-boiled chicken soup with dried scallops, cordyceps, and bamboo pith, to roasted crispy chicken and duck, steamed pearl grouper with superior soy sauce, and wok-fried tiger prawn with kam heong sauce. 



The crème de la crème of the 3 menus is the Prosperity Treats Menu priced at RM2,688 nett per table of 10 persons. 



Since it’s the Year of The Wood Snake, this menu is the ultimate choice for all. Featuring nothing but the best and finest premium ingredients, each dish featured on this menu is a testament to the rich tapestry of Chinese cuisine. 



Start the feast with a rich and flavourful double-boiled free range chicken (village chicken) with dried scallops, fish maw and wolf berry; move into a duet with the roasted crispy duck and steamed chicken with ginger paste; 



dive into an abundance of blessings by indulging in the steamed pomfret with superior soy sauce and of course, for happiness and laughter the whole year through, what better dish to have than the symbolic steamed water prawn with wolf berry and egg white sauce. This menu does not stop here of course; there are still loads to explore.

One must not miss out on the annual lou hei, lou sang event. A traditional must-have, Yee Sang or Raw Fish Salad, a celebratory dish symbolising good fortune, good luck, and prosperity for the coming year is part and parcel of the 3 set menus. 



The yee sang is also available ala carte for in-dining and takeaway. On the menu are delectable options such as sliced abalone at RM188 (1/2 portion) and RM288 for a full portion; salmon with crispy fish skin (RM108 and RM198); smoked duck breast with crispyfish skin (RM108 and RM198),; mixed fruits (RM78 and RM108) also available for vegetarian at RM78 (1/2 portion) and RM108 for full portion.
