Do you have any incontinence experience postpartum or due to a medical condition?
TensCare is a UK medical device company specialized in electrotherapy
with almost 30 years of experience in electrotherapy, including pain relief
treatment and muscle rehabilitation, mostly known for the Pain relief TensCare
unit and Kegel Trainers.
As for women, our pelvic floor muscles work to help keep the bladder and bowel openings closed to prevent unwanted leakage (incontinence) and they relax to allow easy bladder and bowel emptying. Good pelvic floor muscles can help to improve sexual experience by improving the vaginal sensation and your ability to grip. Good grip or weak grip of our pelvic floor muscles will affect our lifestyle quality.
Mouse mommy is having confusion about how and where is my pelvic floor muscle that I need to do Kegel exercise. I am not sure whether I am contracting the right pelvic floor muscle or not.
With the usage of TensCare Kegel Trainer, mouse mommy knows that I am doing the right pelvic floor
Kegel exercise and contracting the right pelvic floor muscle. There are 2 mode
options available in the TensCare Kegel Trainer which are TRAIN and TONE.
Kegel Toner is an entry-level kegel exerciser that’s easy to start for beginners. Suitable for women who want to strengthen up pelvic floor muscles and feel the improvement of sensation; if you already have bladder leakage issue, especially after childbirth, TensCare's Alivia Kegel exerciser is recommended as it’s the premium device for all-rounded treatment. It uses the same technology as Kegel Toner, except it has more exercise programmes and has just been awarded ' The Best Kegel Exerciser' from Parents' Choice Award 2022.
TensCare Kegel Trainer can be set in TRAIN mode for 20 mins with the strength in mA of your wish till you reach the comfortable sensation level of pelvic muscle contraction. Mouse mommy went to the toilet to empty my urinary bladder first. After that, sanitised the device unit with sanitary wipe and applied some water-based lubricating gel on top of the TensCare Kegel Toner continence stimulator unit.
Make sure the Kegel Trainer is in OFF mode before inserting. Mouse mommy
lying down and inserting the TenCare Kegel Trainer into my vaginal. After that,
switch ON the device. I press and increase the strength up to 40mA ( the level
of intensity depends on individual condition ). Mouse mommy can feel the stimulation and contraction of my pelvic floor
muscle. Working well!!
As for the TensCare Kegel Trainer TRAIN mode, the pelvic floor muscle
stimulation is one time at one go, while TONE mode is multiple pelvic floor
muscle stimulation at one time.
It is highly recommended to use TensCare Kegel Trainer for 20mins a day,
6 times a week for 12 weeks continuously. It would be good that we can continue
the Kegel exercise on a daily basis in the long run for our good quality of
life. It has certainly improved my pelvic floor muscle tone and bladder
control. No more leak, no more anxiety and of course, more self esteem , more
confidence. Awesome!
● It comes with 5 programs = 3 Exercise, 1 Tone,
and 1 Pain Relief (with electrode pads for pain relief treatment which can also
be used for postpartum cramps.)
●3 Exercise modes that give pelvic floor muscles
an all-round workout with different frequencies and pulses, so the muscles
don’t get used to one exercise mode.
● Period pain relief programs can be used for
postpartum cramps as well, which uses EMS technology.
You do not have to worry if you are new to the device as the
instructions on how to use the device are included in the pack specially to
guide you through.
