Create Your Own Imagination Play-Doh To Win By Hasbro Toy Malaysia!

The search is on for Malaysia’s most creative child as Play-Doh kick starts its inaugural ‘Doh-Bassador of Creativity’ from 1 – 31 August 2017. Organised by Hasbro Toy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the contest invites children aged four to nine years old from around Malaysia to "Open A Can of Imagination” to produce their most original and creative sculpture using Play-Doh compound. With unlimited entries, the only limits are the limits of your imagination!

Participation is easy and simple. All that is needed is to share a picture or video of their most creative sculpt made from Play-Doh compound on Instagram. All profiles need to be public and participants are required include a short description of their creation in less than 100 words, together with the hashtags #PlayDohMY and #DohBassadorMY.

Apart from receiving RM 1,000 worth of Play-Doh products, the appointed Doh-Bassador of Creativity will also have a chance to collaborate with a key influencer to create a series of Malaysian-inspired sculpts in celebration of World Play-Doh Day and Malaysia Day, both falling on 16 September 2017. The Doh-Bassador of Creativity campaign is supported by The Malaysian Women’s Weekly as their media partner.

Kelly Yip, Brand Manager for Hasbro Toy (Malaysia) said, “Play-Doh is known as a teaching tool to promote the development of children’s motor skills, communication skills, sensory experience and creativity. When you open a can of Play-Doh, it inspires endless possibilities and this is what we want to encourage parents to do. We want them to cultivate their children’s creative minds, and spend more quality time with their children while exploring different ideas. The Doh-Bassador of Creativity Contest provides an excellent opportunity to inspire and develop a child’s imagination.”

With humble beginnings as wallpaper cleaner, the Play-Doh brand has come a long way. Starting off with only four colours of red, blue, yellow and white when they started, the modelling compound brand is now available in more than 50 colours! More than three billion cans of Play-Doh compound have been squished and squashed since 1956. 

Following Play-Doh’s 60th Anniversary last year, the Play-Doh brand continues to encourage creative, hands-on play with its various playsets such as Food Role Play, Shape and Learn and the brand new digital playset Play-Doh Touch.

Great! Mouse mommy was looking forward this kind of money management activities and education apps for kids to explore and know-how-to-use-money wisely for the kids! 

Prudence Foundation, the community investment arm of Prudential Corporation Asia, has launched a mobile app to help parents to discuss a variety of financial literacy subjects with their children in an entertaining and engaging way.


As part of the award-winning Cha-Ching programme, the free app – Cha-Ching Challenge – is designed for parents and their children aged seven to 12 years old. Using the four fundamental money management concepts: Earn, Save, Spend and Donate, the app offers a variety of activities in each category that serve as fun conversation starters to help families navigate the different options available when managing money and help them make smarter money choices.


There are additional features that enable users to learn about the key objectives for each activity, record their achievements and share photos. The app also features clips from the Cha-Ching songs, including the latest music video in the Cha-Ching series entitled Cha-Cha-Choices.


“Financial literacy is an important life skill that children should learn not just early in life, but practice on a daily basis. We are delighted that Cha-Ching has made an impact globally since its launch in 2011, providing millions of children all over the world the opportunity to get a head-start on money management concepts,” said Marc Fancy, Executive Director of Prudence Foundation. 

“This new app is the ideal tool for parents, who want to discuss financial literacy but don’t know where to start. Cha-Ching Challenge provides yet another touchpoint and platform to deliver our message about the importance of financial education.”



Cha-Ching was first launched in 2011 across Southeast Asia on Turner’s Cartoon Network and later on Boomerang. On the Cartoon Network channel, the episodes are available in more than 34 million households in 10 languages per month. Since its launch in 2011, the programme has accumulated more than 76 million page views on www.cha-ching.com, more than 3 million video views on its YouTube channel and generated 139,000 Facebook fans.

The Cha-Ching School Contact Programme has been implemented across Asia since 2012 and has reached more than 280,000 children directly. It has been adopted into the national curriculum by the Department of Education in the Philippines. A new Cha-Ching Curriculum with structured lesson plans for teachers was launched in schools in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia in 2016.



"Turner is able to bring a sense of fun to what is a very important subject. The characters and storylines that it has created together with Prudence Foundation have resonated with families for years, and the app is the next step in the campaign’s evolution,” added Vishal Dembla, Turner’s General Manager in Southeast Asia.

The Sweetest Family CANDY Walkathon At My Neighbourhood Main Place Mall, USJ 21 This October 2017!


The first-ever Candy Walkathon in Malaysia going to happening this coming 15 October 2017, Sunday at Main Place Mall, USJ 21! This year, "The Candy Walkathon" really touch my heart! First thing come across mouse mommy's mind was So Sweet... of this idea! Ehmm... what will we experience during the Candy Walkathon? We are looking forward! 

The objective of The Candy Walkathon by Main Place Mall is to promote healthy lifestyle among the communities especially in this hectic and busy lifestyle nowadays. To encourage healthy family bonding moments as in this is one of the favourite neighbourhood shopping mall too for us! To celebrate Manny's 3rd Birthday - MR and MH favourite mascot of Main Place Mall!  

Mouse mommy and family love to join this Main Place Mall annually walkathon event as one of our family activities as in it is children and stroller friendly and most important it's fun, healthy and bonding moments for family! Sorry to said that mouse mommy also busy with routine work and sometimes tends to skip workout session. By joining family fun run will definitely a great workout session for busy mom like me! Of course, also a lovely healthy bonding fun run for entire family!
Last year 2016, we join "The Good Life Walkathon" at Main Place Mall ! 
Last year 2006 we joined the "The Good Life Walkathon" Halloween Edition by Main Place Mall. Nice and attractive neon colour of the walkathon tees which include neon orange, neon yellow and neon peach brings colours to the walkathon. The organiser was so thoughtful to have some message boards in between the route to encourage us to walk further and go...go..go... Haha! My boy MR still remember "You've walked 1,250 steps!" Feeling awesome! Other than that, we also got a task during the walkathon - To count the total of the "hidden Manny" and submit it at the end of the walkathon as lucky dip. We are so excited going to participate The Candy Walkathon, Main Place Mall, USJ in this coming October 2017!

Oh ya! Manny is the name of a black cat, the mascot for Main Place Mall, USJ. Other than joining this family fun Candy Walkathon, we are also take this opportunity to celebrating Manny's 3rd birthday conjunction with 3rd year anniversary of walkathon! Happy Birthday Manny in advance!
