Guardian Malaysia | A Gift of Wellness This Hari Raya

This Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, guardian Malaysia invites Malaysians to look beyond tradition and embrace a deeper, more lasting expression of care – the gift of wellness!

While duit Raya and festive treats remain cherished customs, guardian encourages families to consider gifts that continue to protect, nurture and strengthen their loved ones long after the celebrations have ended.

A Meaningful Evolution of Raya Giving

Speaking at the launch of guardian’s Raya campaign, “Seikhlas Pemberian, Seindah Lebaran”, Priscilla Wu, Managing Director, Malaysia & Brunei, guardian Health and Beauty, shared that Raya is ultimately about sincerity, gratitude and love.

“This festive season, we are gently reframing the tradition of giving. Beyond duit Raya and festive dishes, we encourage Malaysians to give something that safeguards health and supports wellbeing – because the truest expression of love is ensuring our families remain protected and cared for,” she said.

“For over 58 years, guardian has stood beside Malaysians as a trusted wellness advisor. Every thoughtfully chosen health or beauty gift becomes more than a product – it becomes a blessing that endures beyond the festivities.”

A Story of Care Across Generations

The campaign message comes to life through guardian’s new Raya film, “Seikhlas Pemberian, Seindah Lebaran.”

The film follows Rina and her grandmother, portraying how simple, thoughtful gifts of wellness over the years quietly strengthened their bond and supported their health. It closes with a heartfelt reminder – that the most meaningful Raya gifts are good health, love and sincere prayer.

The new guardian Raya film is now available on YouTube and all guardian social media platforms.

Extending Care to the Community

In the spirit of Ramadan – a month of reflection, empathy and generosity – guardian also hosted 80 girls from various homes at the campaign launch event, which was held at the guardian Raya atrium event at the Orange Atrium, Sunway Pyramid shopping centre.

The guardian Raya Atrium event will run from 2 – 8 March and will feature spectacular promotions and experiential zones from many brands.

The girls took part in wellness sessions led by guardian pharmacists and selected brand partners, as part of guardian’s ongoing commitment to empowering young Malaysians with practical wellness knowledge and personal care education. The girls were also taken on a Hari Raya shopping spree at the Atrium event and the Sunway Pyramid guardian store where they selected their desired health and beauty products, guided by guardian team members and members of the media. They were then treated to a special Buka Puasa buffet.

Throughout the month of Ramadan, guardian will continue its charity wellness contributions, impacting close to 2,000 beneficiaries from various homes through outreach and wellness initiatives in several communities by pledging over RM55,000.

Celebrating Raya with MYguardian Rewards

To make this festive season even more meaningful, MYguardian Rewards members can participate in the Gold Rewards Contest, with over RM80,000 worth of prizes to be won.

From 25 February to 31 March 2026, members who spend a minimum of RM50 in a single receipt including participating brands will be automatically entered to win:

Members who spend RM68 and above will receive an exclusive Fiziwoo green packet pack containing a RM5 guardian voucher.

Wellness for Every Generation

To help families prepare for Raya, guardian is also offering up to 50% discounts on over 7,500 products across all stores nationwide and online – making it easier for Malaysians to choose gifts that prioritise health, beauty and everyday wellbeing.

“There is no greater gift than knowing the people we love are cared for and protected,” Priscilla added.

“This Raya, let us give something that strengthens them for the journey ahead - a gift of wellness that reflects love, sincerity and prayer.”

Revolutionising Skin Health | Guardian Malaysia Rolls Out AI-Powered Checks with Derma Expert Pharmacist Guidance

guardian Malaysia announced that its pharmacists nationwide are now Certified Derma Experts

These pharmacists have the right ‘know-how’ to professionally consult and address shoppers’ skincare questions, especially in the specialised areas of derma skincare and sensitive skin needs.

A private preview comprising close to 150 media representatives, influencers and invited shoppers was held to allow guests to have a first-hand, personalised 1-1 consultation with the Certified Derma Experts. Skin health check counters as well as skincare solution booths were made available at this event besides an accompanying workshop session.

guardian pharmacists’ upgraded knowledge is paired with the latest AI-powered Skin Health Check tool as Malaysia’s No. 1 Health & Beauty Retailer* rolls out this upgraded in-store consultation experience across stores nationwide.

The Korean designed Skin Health Check device helps shoppers discover their skin needs across 12 insights i.e. wrinkles, dark circles, blemishes, pores and acnes, amongst others – ALL in just 3 minutes.

Priscilla Wu, Managing Director, guardian Malaysia, said: “As the trusted and preferred go-to-destination for everything skincare, guardian Malaysia is proud to be the first health & beauty retailer in this country to champion the need for pharmacists to be derma skin experts.”

Priscilla added that this effort is made through guardian’s Radiance Academy that works with brand partners to structure and organise a curriculum that is focused on the increasing issues of eczema, acne, hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin faced by Malaysians out there.

As part of the structured curriculum, pharmacists are exposed to curated topics on skin health that are conducted by speakers and trainers who are experts from our brand partners as well as Malaysia’s leading dermatologists.

Expert Says: Skincare and its link to overall wellbeing

Present at the event is one such expert, dermatologist Dr Ch’ng Chin Chwen, who said: “Many Malaysians ‘forget’ that the skin is our body’s largest organ. It acts as an important ‘shield’ for the individual’s protection, sensory organ, synthesis of Vitamin D and regulation of the body temperature.

Therefore, it is important to care for the skin given its critical and multi-faceted role in supporting an individual’s health and wellbeing.”

Given the increasing prevalence of derma skin issues and sensitive skin needs, are Malaysians equipped with the right knowledge to care for their skin health?

Access to expert-level advice can be further enhanced and knowledge is power. When skin consultation and analysis is done right, the awareness of what’s not right with the health of the skin will then enable the selection of the right solution to improve it,” added Dr Ch’ng.

guardian Pharmacists: Your friendly Derma Expert around your neighbourhood

Expert-level advice should not be misunderstood to be everything that one reads right out of the Internet or hearsay from extended families, friends and colleagues.

There is information overdose. And, there is also misinformation. Shoppers are either confused or misguided,"added Priscilla.

The intention to provide shoppers with personalised, 1-1 skin analysis using our AI-powered tool and to enable them access to the ‘right information’ gave birth to Radiance Academy

Working with brand partners in curating the right mix of courses in the curriculum for guardian Pharmacists, it has been an upskilling effort in continuous professional development to gain CME points (Continuous Medical Education) at the same time.

“The roll-out of our AI-powered Skin Health Check and your pharmacist’s certification of Derma Expertise underline guardian Malaysia’s commitment to empowering YOU with the right knowledge and guidance towards healthier skin,” concluded Priscilla.

Everyone with derma skin concerns is welcomed to speak to the Certified Derma Experts
