Shopping Fashionable Baju Raya At Haqqi Boutique TTDI This Raya Aidilfitri!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! In conjunction of Raya celebrations, mouse mommy also take this opportunity to shopping ‘baju raya’ with friends. We are visiting to Haqqi Boutique Taman Tun Dr Ismail to look for our raya suits.

‘Butik Haqqi merupakan hab produk kelengkapan ibadah haji, umrah dan fesyen patuh syariah.’ Normally, mouse mommy bought baju kurung at shopping mall. This round, I follow my malay friends to shop our baju raya at Haqqi Boutique.

Haqqi Boutique was offered many choices from Jubah, Kurta, Baju Kurung, Punjabi suits, Baju Kebaya, Tudung, Cardigan and so on for gentleman and ladies.   

The most importance points is the size available from XS to XXXL. That is great that mouse mommy can fitting the baju raya that fit my size. No more worries about the sizes issue.

Mouse mommy was loves to wear baju kurung in my daily life. It is polite and official suits that I can go for any function. I had try out and fitting for few baju raya. All also looks great! 

Love the quality of the fabric that suitable for our hot and humid weather. The design was also unique with its cutting and colour matching. 

It is a warm and kids-friendly boutique too. Mouse mommy can choose and fitting in a comfortable environment. Thanks to the welcoming and friendly staffs!

A Magical Ramadan Buffet At Funtasia Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya!

Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya welcomes Ramadan 2018 with an attractive display and offerings for breakfasting of fast street-style the Malaysian way during the holy month. The hotel invites guests to rejoice the joy of Ramadan with your family, friends and colleagues at the fun, hip and chic, family-friendly setting of Funtasia.

Talented chefs have come up with over 200 choices of street-style and restayrant dishes ranging from appetizing starters on its 12ft tall Ferris Wheel to whole rosted lamb, Malaysian satay and Mongolian BBQ. A creative Ferris Wheel idea to serve appetizers and welcome guests.  An Instagram-photo worthy post too for the family and diners.  

Expect a magical culinary experience at Funtasia! Jom Iftar Buffet dining is RM90nett per adult and RM45nett for children (4-12 years old) with minimum 24hour prior reservations and pre-payment. Regular walk in buffet price is RM120nett per adult and RM60 per children (4-12 years old).

Diners can also enjoy other local and western favourites such as its famous pan-fried gyoza, nasi goreng fried by a robo-wok, sup tulang and sup kambing (oxtail soup and mutton soup) and deep-fried desserts. The 1-minute ikan masin fried rice by a robo-wok was yummy to eat.

The mushroom soup was full with mushroom savory. The carbonara spaghetti also cheesy and yummy! MR was finished two bowls of mushroom soups and a plate of carbonara spaghetti.

The homemade Beef Pepperoni Pizza by in-house Chef was fresh and delicious with its crispy pizza crust.

Not forgetting the delightful sweet endings with ice kacang and cendol, live kuih ketayap in the making and homemade gelato with daily changing flavours. Mouse mommy and MR love the gelato chocolate and tiramisu, it tastes smooth, chocolatier and less sweet. A healthy and yummy choice of desserts!   

Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya and Funtasia also continue to support its “Care for Hunger” campaign by contributing RM3.50 for every adult dining the Jom Iftar Buffet throughout the Ramadan month. The hotel targets to contribute a minimum of RM25,000 on its 10^th year partnership anniversary with Islamic Relief Malaysia this year.

Islamic Relief Malaysia will also be opening its booth during Ramadan located on Level 1. Funtasia kitchen, Harmoni kitchen, pastry kitchen, banquet kitchen is halal certified by JAKIM. Parking is free for all guests and surau facility is located on level 2 of the hotel.

Exciting SuperMom Contest And Challenge At The Mines!

The Mines shopping mall (The Mines) is organizing the inaugural iconic event “SUPERMOM” Mother’s Day Contest on 19 May 2018, 2pm to 6pm, at Level 3, West Court with the objectives of providing a fun and interactive session for the moms and their kid whilst instil the importance of housework sharing amongst the kids in conjunction of Mother’s Day celebration.

A total of 11 pairs moms and children are participating the contest, challenging their skills and speed of completing the assigned daily housework tasks such as cooking, crafting, sport, shopping, and health and beauty knowledge. The best mom will be crowned the “Supermom” and walk away with attractive prizes.

The contest is jointly organized by the mall and its retail partners of Oliver Gourmet, Beauty Secret, Fun Factory, Giant, Mr. DIY, Natural Health Farm and Starbucks. It was divided into 6 main sections – Meal Preparation skills, Crafting skills, Sport Challenge, Shopping Hunt and Health & Beauty related knowledge which will be held at different retail partner’s shop. A packed Mother’s Day activities with kids!

The contest starts with the Meal Preparation section at Oliver Gourmet (Level 3, East Court) where the contestants are required to prepare simple meal using the ingredients provided by Oliver Gourmet. The results will be judged based on the criteria of teamwork, time and food presentation.

Mouse mommy and MR has prepares our own Love Tree sandwiches with Ayam Brand Tuna, cheese, bread, grapes and banana. Our healthy meal was filled with balance nutrition requirement. Haha! MR loves it so much!

Second station will be the bonus stage at Natural Health Farm (Level 3, East Court) whereby the contestants need to answer 10 simple health and product related questions including searching for certain products in the Natural Health Farm store. The fastest team who answered correctly for each question will be rewarded with bonus points. Mouse mommy was managed to answer 3 questions. Many organic products can be found in the Natural Health Farm store.

The third station, Crafting section is held at Mr. DIY store (Level 4, North Court) where the moms need to work with their kid to create a string-art masterpiece. The kid need to sketch a Mother’s Day related artwork on a piece of paper under guidance and suggestion provided by the mom and thereafter the completed artwork will be transformed by the mom onto the given wooden board using strings & nails. The results will be judged based on the criteria of time, neatness, creativity and teamwork.

Mouse mommy was using the hammer and nails to create a STAR draft on the wooden board. 

MR was helping to use the colourful Mr. DIY sewing thread to transform become a STAR. After that, we also make a DIY MR wording on the board to represent Do It Yourself MR!  

The next station is the Sport Challenge section, at Fun Factory(Level 4, North Court). The moms are required to complete the roller skating track with their kid in their fastest time. They will be taught of the basic roller skating skills by the professional instructor from Fun Factory prior to the contest. The results will be judged based on time and teamwork.

Ops! This is the most challenging part. We do not know how to skate at all. Thanks for the professional instructor from the Fun Factory to teach us, at least we know how to stabilize ourselves by standing in a V-shape with both foot and slightly bend our both knees.

The contest is followed by another bonus stage at Beauty Secret (Level 1, East Court) whereby the contestants need to answer few product related questions in the Beauty Secret store. The top 3 fastest teams will be rewarded with bonus points.

The final station is the Shopping Hunt at Giant Hypermarket whereby the contestants will be given a list of grocery items that they need to search and collect all these items into their trolley in Giant Hypermarket within the given time. The results will be judged based on number of collected items and teamwork.

We are running, searching and hunting according to the given Giant shopping list. We only managed to get 3 items on the list. A fun filled and adrenaline rush SuperMom contest that we join and we won the consolation prize.   

After completed all the sections, the marks accumulated from all the contest sections will be summed up for winners’ identification. The champion of the contest will win RM500 worth of cash prize and hampers, products and cash vouchers worth over RM1,800.00 sponsored by participating tenants, while 1^strunner up and 2^nd Runner Up will win cash prizes worth RM300 and RM200 respectively and hampers, products and cash vouchers worth over RM900.00 and RM600.00 respectively. Consolations will win cash prize of RM50 with products and cash vouchers worth over RM200.00.

Kawaii We Bare Bears Pop-Up Store At TGV Cinemas Sunway Velocity!

The hilarious and endearing characters of the internationally-acclaimed animated sitcom, We Bare Bears, has landed in Malaysia through a first-of-its-kind revolutionary pop-up store conceptualised and brought to reality by TGV Cinemas, one of the country’s leading cinema chains.

We Bare Bears pop-up store, which was unveiled at an exclusive media event that is located at TGV Cinemas Sunway Velocity Mall (Cheras) and will be opened for a limited period, from Saturday, 9 June 2018 until Sunday, 8 July 2018.

This first-of-its-kind pop-up store, spearheaded by TGV Cinemas in collaboration with Cartoon Network and Innocraft Sdn Bhd (the official Malaysia licensee of We Bare Bears), offers fans and movie-goers the opportunity to take home authentic We Bare Bears merchandise and collectibles. These include official plush toys, mugs, notebooks, notepads, t-shirts and coin bags, amongst many others. There are also a wide-range of F&B products as well as an entire themed area dedicated to the series for visitors to indulge in a complete We Bare Bears experience.
