To celebrate the launch of the animation movie PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH in cinemas on 22nd December, our favourite leche-loving, swashbuckling, fearless cat hero PUSS BOOTS is taking over AEON MALLS this festive season.

 


A cat with many names – The Stabby Tabby, El Macho Gato, the Leche Whisperer, PUSS IN BOOTS will be taking over the Ground Floor Main Concourse of 11 AEON MALLS with loads of fun and interactive activities for families and animation movie fans.

sooka 'Pencuri Hati' Program Realiti Selebriti Bachelor | Zul Ariffin Bakal Jadi Rebutan 13 Peserta Wanita

 

sooka, aplikasi penstriman hiburan tempatan bakal menanyangkan Pencuri Hati – siri sooka Originals pertama berformat Program Realiti Selebriti Bachelor bermula 9 Disember ini. Pelakon dan selebriti tersohor, Zul Ariffin bakal menjadi tumpuan di dalam program realiti tersebut, ditemani oleh 13 peserta wanita bertuah yang telah terpilih melalui proses pencarian pada bulan Ogos lalu.


Sentiasa cakna dengan arus trend generasi milenial terkini, sooka telah bekerjasama dengan Astro Productions untuk menghasilkan Pencuri Hati, Program Realiti Selebriti Bachelor yang mengetengahkan keserasian personaliti para peserta program bersama selebriti terpilih, berlandaskan konteks yang bersesuaian dengan sensitiviti budaya tempatan. Sebanyak 10 episod mingguan bakal menemui peminat di aplikasi sooka, mengetengahkan 13 peserta wanita yang bersaing untuk menjadi pemenang utama yang bakal diberikan peluang untuk mengenali Zul Ariffin secara lebih mendalam.



Pencuri Hati juga akan memperkenalkan 2 Resident Advisor, pengacara dan pelakon terkenal, Sherry Alhadad; dan doktor dan influencer terkenal di media sosial, Shazril Shaharuddin, atau Dr. Say – yang memainkan peranan sebagai pengantara di antara para peserta dan Zul Ariffin.

Kali ini, kami amat gembira untuk menjadi aplikasi hiburan tempatan yang pertama dalam memperkenalkan sebuah Program Realiti Selebriti Bachelor di Malaysia. Pengenalan Pencuri Hati juga adalah atas maklum balas positif daripada siri Originals kami yang lain lantas mendorong kami untuk lebih berani mencuba pelbagai format baru. Ini juga berdasarkan fenomena rancangan realiti mencari cinta yang merupakan satu trend yang diminati oleh generasi milenial pada masa kini,’’ kata Emarina Mohd Kamal, Ketua Rancangan di sooka.



Nama yang tidak asing lagi dalam industri perfileman negara, Zul Ariffin merupakan antara pelakon lelaki yang paling diminati di Malaysia. Beliau baru-baru ini membintangi filem Juang yang menceritakan kisah-kisah barisan hadapan negara dalam menghadapi cabaran COVID-19; dan juga filem Talbis Iblis yang telah berjaya mengutip RM1juta dalam tempoh empat hari sahaja. Personaliti Zul yang menarik dan santai serta sangat perahsia merupakan antara faktor utama pemilihan pelakon tersebut untuk diketengahkan sebagai selebriti tumpuan di dalam Pencuri Hati.

Pencuri Hati menonjolkan 13 wanita berpesonaliti menarik yang bakal mempertaruhkan hati untuk memenangi peluang mengenali selebriti tampan Zul Ariffin selama 24 jam (during daylight). Setiap episod bakal menguji peserta secara individu dan berkumpulan dalam pelbagai cabaran seperti masakan, fotografi dan sukan lasak. Peserta yang memenangi cabaran mingguan mungkin berpeluang menerima ‘Purple Note’ atau nota istimewa serta menikmati peluang meluangkan masa bersama Zul Ariffin, tetapi peserta dengan markah terendah bakal menghadapi penyingkiran. Pemilihan dilakukan oleh Zul Ariffin sendiri, beserta bantuan daripada Sherry Alhadad dan Dr Say Shazril selaku penasihat atau Resident Advisors dan pembimbing peserta.


Kesemua sepuluh episod program realiti ini akan ditayangkan eksklusif di sooka bermula 9 Disember 2022 sehingga 10 Februari 2023. Shopee Celebrity Squad | Shopee Boosts Malaysian Creative Economy, Scales Celebrity-and Influencer-owned Brands with Technology

 

Shopee unveils that Malaysian celebrity-and influencer-owned brands are gaining greater visibility in an increasingly saturated e-commerce landscape, in its latest ‘Shopee Super Awards 2022 Milestones’* study. The platform drives Malaysia’s creative economy by supporting local talents to scale their businesses and grow together with technology. Reviewing the past year’s performance, the study found that celebrity-and influencer-owned brands on Shopee had a 59% year-on-year growth in revenue from October 2021 to September 2022 compared to the year before

 

Shopee Celebrity Squad was launched in 2018 creating a dedicated space with 97 brands for consumers to access celebrity-and influencer-owned products. Notable members include Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Neelofa, and Zoey Rahman, among others. These brands bring Malaysians more product choices through active livestream sessions, exclusive product launches, participation in Shopee’s Big Campaigns, and curating authentic, quality local goods for their audiences. 

 

Shopee Celebrity Squad sellers actively engage with their viewers on livestream by offering interactive content, bringing a more personal touch for their audience. Sellers that conduct livestream sessions had over 166,000 cumulative unique viewers joining the sessions and over 20,000 peak continuous users watching the stream at any one point of time, over the past year. Sellers create fun content, play games and quizzes, and casually chat with their audiences to foster relationships. Viewers feel closer to the celebrities and influencers that they admire when these local talents bond with them through the livestreams.

 

Shopee hosts weekly exclusive launches for Shopee Celebrity Squad brands every Sunday, where the celebrities and influencers have a dedicated platform to showcase their new store or latest product to new and existing audiences. Through these launches, buyers feel excited to be one of the first to know about and purchase their favourite personality’s new releases on the microsite and receive better brand experiences when tuning into their live streams. These brands also saw 55% year-on-year growth in orders as a testament to their efforts.

Shopee Celebrity Squad brands, which offer proudly Malaysian-made products, saw a 54% year-on-year growth in gross merchandise value as they understand their audiences’ purchasing values.
