Shark Hero Conservation Run 2017 | Thank You For Being Shark Heroes!


Truly Thank You all Shark Heroes be with us! Such a fun and meaningful family run! 


Shark Hero Conservation Run 2017 (SHCR2017) which is held on 18 Nov 2017 in Celebration Centre Sunsuria City, is a family themed fun run aimed to raise awareness for endangered shark population. Besides the 4 km run, a carnival is held on the same day, which consists of 9 food trucks, 15 games & arts booths and a stage performance.



Right before the run, all shark heroes runners are excited to warm up with the famous Shark Doo Doo Dance. Baby Shark doo doo... Mommy Shark doo doo... Daddy Shark doo doo... Parents and kids were so energetic and supportive to kick start the Shark Hero Run 2017! 


The fun run will starts at 5 pm, honourable guests together with Pocohtee & Friends Mascot will flag off at the starting line. There will be a Question & Answer (Q&A) session for every 1 km. Participants will receive a badge for every question answered correctly.




SCHR2017 attracted approximately 5,500 participants for the event day. For every ticket sold, RM5 will be donated to Shark Saver Malaysia. In addition to public participation, various companies and beauty queens, as part of their CSR efforts, have sponsored members from up to 15 centres of orphanage houses and OKU organizations to take part in the event.


Volunteers from UKM marine science department, Shark Saver Malaysia and Acexelent Team staff will be available on the day itself to provide assistance to participants. Yes! You are one of our cool team in this charity force too!


Acexelent Team is deeply honoured to be able to invite Yang Amat Mulia Raja Shuibah Al-Sultan Idris Shahand and Sunsuria City CEO Mr. Koong Wai Seng to officiate the opening of SCHR2017.


After the run, participants can look forward to the carnival which photo and Acexelent Team has meticulously prepared games booths. A total of 60 exciting prizes will be available for the winners of game booths. There will also be an exhibition by Shark Saver Malaysia as well as Arts & Craft Session for public to participate.

The stage performance starts at 7 pm. Artists who will be performing on the day are Dennis Lau, Electric Violinist; Aundrew Lee, Illusionist and Mentalist. Voted as No.1 Magician in Malaysia; Crystal Ong, Malaysian Famous Singer; Koujee, International Celebrity Beatboxer and Beatbox instructor; Sawyer Leong, Malaysia Child Actor and Beatboxer; G3, Malaysia East Malaysia Famous Dancing Crew; Michael kael, Malaysia Famous Singer and Actor; Zen ang, Project Director of Chester Development Sdn Bhd.


In between performances, representative of Dato Paduka Kevy will present WCA certificate to Acexelent team as token of appreciation. At the same time, winner of Best Online Shark Doo Doo dance will be announced and prize to be given. The final proceed to be donated to Shark Saver Malaysia will be announced before the closing and Shark Saver Malaysia representative will accept the donation in the form of mock cheque. ‘A Brighter Future with TOP’ Campaign To Support Charity Homes Children To School!

Children from the following charity homes will be receiving a complete school kit each, including shoes and socks.

TOP, the No.1[1] brand in Peninsular Malaysia in Detergent category, is back for the third consecutive year with its ‘A Brighter Future with TOP’ or ‘Cerahi Kehidupan Bersama TOP’ fundraising campaign to provide back-to-school necessities for children from selected care organization, nationwide.

Over the past two years close to 1,000 children from care organizations have received a full kit of school uniforms, as well as shoes and stationery. This year the brand is aiming to provide another 400 children with a full school kit, including shoes and socks, each so that they can start the year on a level playing field for a brighter future.

The campaign aims to collect more than RM40,000 in funds that will be used to purchase school uniforms for children aged between 7 to 17 years old from 18 new homes across 10 states in Malaysia.

TOP will be collaborating with leading retailer, Giant which has more than 150 stores across Malaysia to encourage more people to support the campaign to offer these children a brighter future.

The campaign will see 30 sen from the sales of any TOP products from November 13 to December 13, 2017 contributed through all Giant outlets nationwide channeled to the ‘Cerahi Kehidupan Bersama TOP’ fund.

The campaign has two simple objectives, namely to gift these children with new uniforms that they can take pride in, that can motivate them to achieve more by boosting their self-confidence and self-esteem; and to educate them on the importance of a hygienic lifestyle, including caring for their clothing so that they are clean and hygienically laundered.
