Pavilion Bukit Jalil welcomed the Year of the Horse with JOYFUL PROSPERITY Together, Here., a month-long Chinese New Year celebration running from today until 24 February 2026. Rooted in reunion, blessings and the promise of fresh beginnings, the celebration transformed the mall with festive decor, traditional performances and interactive experiences, offering families and friends a warm and welcoming space to gather and celebrate the season together.

 

The celebration was officially launched at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in the presence of Yang Berhormat Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, Minister of National Unity Malaysia, alongside Dato’ Philip Ho, Chief Executive Officer of Pavilion REIT Management Sdn Bhd and Mr. Md. Gharif Talib, Head of Cards, Maybank Berhad. The festive performance, Leap into Luck by XiaoMa & MaBao, is at the heart of Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s Chinese New Year celebration - the first mall in Malaysia to feature this unique robotic performance. XiaoMa, inspired by the Year of the Horse, symbolised energy, perseverance, and positive beginnings, reflecting the spirit of progress and hope that marks the New Year. He is accompanied by MaBao, a beloved companion who adds warmth and gentle charm. Together, they bring the themes of joy and togetherness to life, creating memorable moments for families and visitors throughout the season. Centre Court at Pavilion Bukit Jalil comes alive this Chinese New Year with a spectacular festive setting for the whole family. Anchoring the celebration is the striking 16-foot-tall Golden Tree by Gold Art, complemented by a dynamic display of eight 6-foot-tall horse installations and a standout 15-foot-tall centrepiece horse, creating a vibrant and eye-catching scene. Adding to the festive charm, families can enjoy a carousel ride with a minimum spend, while numerous Instagrammable spots throughout Centre Court invite visitors to capture and share joyful festive moments.
