A good quality of sleep is important in our daily life. AmLife International Sdn. Bhd. returned with its World Sleep Day tribute for the fifth year in a row.
Co-hosted by the World Sleep Society, AmLife presented a sleep health showcase at Palace of the Golden Horses to members of the media.
Reinforcing its tagline, “Life, Redefined,” AmLife is spearheading the movement to enable Malaysians achieve better health through better sleep, thus redefining their lives.
According to Mr Lew Mun Yee, Founder & President of AmLife, sleep education is not only close to our hearts and our business philosophy, but is increasingly important as sleep disorders are escalating in the region.

● 9 out of 10 Malaysians have some level of insomnia and have one or more kinds of sleeping problems.
STROKE - 4 TIMES HIGHER
According to 《USA Today》, people who sleep less than 6 hours a day have 4 times higher stroke risk than those who sleep longer.
OBESITY - 73% HIGHER
A study by Columbia University revealed that people who sleep less have 73% higher chance of becoming obese.
CANCER - 47% HIGHER
A study by American Cancer Society discovered that people who sleep less than
7 hours a day have 47%.
HEART - 1.45 TIMES HIGHER
Lack of sleep can easily lead to myocardial infarction. Study found that people who sleep less than 5 hours a day have 1.45 times higher risk of developing coronary artery heart disease.
As such, at the media event, AmLife invited a few international speakers to share sleep health insights.
