Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall | Grand Launch With Redefining Curated Dining and Contemporary Lifestyle For Shoppers


Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall auspiciously opened its doors at 12:01pm to the public on Monday, 9th October 2023. Over 500 guests attended the Opening Ceremony, which consisted of a jubilant daytime event followed by a glittery evening. 



The highly anticipated opening was accentuated by two Malaysia Book of Records recognitions for the latest lifestyle mall from the multi award-winning Pavilion Group.


 


Officiated by Y. Bhg. Puan Sri Cindy Lim, Executive Chairman of Pavilion Group, the milestone event commenced with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony followed by an auspicious Lion Dance performance, that entertained hundreds of guests and shoppers.





Puan Sri Cindy was joined by Datuk Lee Whay Hoong, Director of Impian Ekspresi Sdn Bhd, and Chief Executive Officer (Retail) of Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd. More good luck was fêted with the unveiling of the Three Golden Rams sculpture at Level 5 - magnificent hallmarks of good fortune, stability, determination and triumph. 



Puan Sri Cindy Lim carried out the first lucky golden coin toss, and guests were invited to join in the jubilation. Puan Sri Cindy Lim was presented with the Malaysia Book of Records certificate for “Biggest Golden Three Rams Statue” (4.8 metres H x 3.7 metres L x 3.0 metres W). The audience was further entertained with a Multicultural Dance Performance by Jabatan Kebudayan Dan Kesenian Negara, paired with a pulsating Drum Symphony.



The exuberant finalé of the day was an incredibly radiant affair as the Pavilion Crown, the iconic grand entrance of Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall, was lit up in sparkling wonder by Puan Sri Cindy Lim, together with Directors and a Management of Pavilion Group. 


With a constellation of 2,888 twinkling Murano-glass technology crystals, sparkling like diamonds in the sky, the Pavilion Crown is a Malaysia Book of Records holder for the “Most ‘Murano Lights’ on a Shopping Mall Façade”. In creative collaboration with multi award-winning Light Sculptures, the final masterpiece is a crowning glory of 4 years of planning and over 20,000 hours of design process.

Guardian Malaysia unveiled its brand new, state-of-the-art flagship store, its biggest Guardian store in Southeast Asia, at Mid Valley Shopping Mall, Kuala Lumpur. 


The leading pharmacy, health and beauty retail chain in the country has strengthened its business offering with this unique 7000-sq-foot concept store, leveraging on the latest global health and beauty trends, and ever-changing consumer trends.




Describing this new store concept as ‘revolutionary’ and ‘evolutionary’, Priscilla Wu, Managing Director, Health and Beauty, Malaysia and Brunei, said:

“Guardian customers will get to enjoy a brand-new shopping experience in our new premium flagship store. The Guardian flagship store’s unique layout will feature new product segments such as a Clean & Natural Beauty section featuring skincare, haircare, and cosmetic products that are formulated with safe, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly ingredients, a Tweens section with fun, colourful and safe beauty products for young shoppers aged 8 to 12 years old, and a first-of-its-kind Salon-At-Home hair care section powered by L’Oreal where customers can experience luxurious pampering and indulge in a comprehensive range of hair products tailored to suit their unique needs.







There will also be a Wellness segment in the Healthcare section that will focus on what customers need to get fit and healthy, such as protein powders and health foods.



This will be the first Guardian store to have an animated LED screen store façade, dynamic and interactive digital LED display screens throughout the store and two special interactive pillars that allow a hologram to feature interactive product information and serve as navigation signs.



The new 7,000 square feet flagship store will also showcase new concepts from oral care brands, Oral B & Sensodyne.





Sensodyne will have a special display at Guardian Mid Valley and customers will see how the #1 sensitivity toothpaste in Malaysia* comes to life with the interactive displays, creating awareness around tooth sensitivity. With 71% of Malaysians suffering from tooth sensitivity, they can learn more about how tooth sensitivity can be managed with Sensodyne variants.
