3, 2, 1, Action! Be a STAR at KidZania Kuala Lumpur!

“Be A Star At KidZania Kuala Lumpur” launches with a live band performance by the KidZania Kuala Lumpur Artistic Team. 

This March, ‘Be a Star at KidZania Kuala Lumpur’, from 17 March to 8 April 2018, celebrates children’s rights through music, acting, modelling and the use of technology in each of these areas. My nephew ZH said he wants to be a YouTuber! It’s great being a kid because kids are naturally exuberant and full of potential. Most importantly, every kid is gifted in their own way - all it takes for them to shine is the opportunity to exercise their rights!  

Bringing these rights to life are the RightZKeepers of KidZania Kuala Lumpur - Urbano (Right to Know); Beebop (Right to Create); Chika (Right to Share); Vita (Right to Care); and Bache (Right to Play).

“Be A Star At KidZania Kuala Lumpur” sets out to nurture awareness on KidZania kids’ rightZ through performing arts; the rightZ championed by KidZania’s RightZKeepers (L-R) Bache (Right to Play); Vita (Right to Care); Chika (Right to Share); Beebop (Right to Create) and Urbano (Right to Know). Together with the RightZKeepers is Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

“There is no better way to communicate children’s rights than through - performing arts,” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur. “The ‘Be a Star at KidZania Kuala Lumpur’ programme is aimed at inspiring awareness of children’s rights by allowing kids to experience and explore what it’s like to create, play, know, care, and share in exciting ways! Apart from that, the arts is an important avenue for improving confidence and communications skills. These are valuable life skills which will serve them well as adults, supporting our philosophy to help children ‘Learn Life Today’.” Yes! ‘Be A Star at KidZania Kuala Lumpur’ activities:

Rights to Know and to Create: The YouTuber Lesson teaches children to develop YouTube videos, including learning how social media works, how to set up a camera, use appropriate lighting, and create interesting content based on their personal views about kids’ rights.

Rights to Care and to Share: Acting & Casting Call Workshops inspire children to Care and Share through different acting scenarios such as caring for their friends and family, their pets and the planet.

Rights to Play and to Create: Other activities that promote these rights include lessons in Percussion Class, Brand Modelling and Photoshoot, and DJ Lessons.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Kids can use their newfound skills to enter the ‘Be a Star’ Talent Contest - just submit a video showcase of their performing ability via email to contact@kidzania.com.my or participate in the open audition at the KidZania Kuala Lumpur event space between 17 and 31 March 2018! Twenty finalists will be invited to participate in the Grand Finale on 7 April 2018 to perform in front of a panel of judges and stand a chance to win cash prizes, tickets and more!

Mon Chaang Thai Milk Tea is made from freshly brewed tea leaves that directly imported from Thailand with condensed milk. We can choose the sweetness level and ice level too. It is available in hot, cold and ice blended.  

Mon Chaang own more than 1500 stall in Thailand, if you often travel to Thailand, you must had spotted this Thai Tea by Chapayom too. 

Mon Chaang serves 15 different types of drink, with the affordable price range from RM4.90 Hot, RM5.90 Cold, and RM6.90 Blended. Mon Chaang Thai Tea got 5 signature drinks – Thai Milk Red Tea, Thai Milk Green Tea, Thai Milk Rose Tea, Thai Milk Tea & Coffee (Cham) and Thai Lime Red Tea.

Mouse mommy has ordered for Thai Milk Rose Tea. It taste like our local “sirap bandung” with rose flavor and milky taste. Ladies will love it.

MR was request for chocolate drink (Kid loves chocolates so much!) and ordered Thai Cocoa via Mon Chaang friendly staff. The staff was child-friendly and recommends us some snacks that imported from Thailand too.

Mon Chaang also offers combo sets for hot tea 236ml with 1 Thai snack in RM9.90, cold tea 650ml with 1 Thai snack in RM10.90 and blended tea 650ml with 1 Thai snack in RM11.90. MR and baby MH want it and snacking while the staff prepares for our Mon Chaang drinks.

Thai Cocoa that served was really KAW with cocoa and it taste superb nice! MR and baby MH finished it by themselves. Mouse mommy was only eligible to taste two sips only. Can mommy have more please, boys? Cocoa lovers sure like it.   

Thai Milk Tea and Coffee (Cham) ice blended was highly recommended by mouse mommy. The KAW combination of Thai milk tea and coffee was really good and smooth taste when it blended with ice. Love it so much! More photos can click here to check out.

NYX Professional Makeup flagship store has officially opened their 3rd store at Sunway Pyramid. Mouse mommy was spotted many good quality NYX professional cosmetic products range available in store such as lipstick, lip cream, lip gloss, Total Control Drop shades, eyeliner, eye palette, mascara, eye jumbo pencil and so on. 

Mouse mommy was spotted the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil and loves the wide range of colours available to choose from. The in-store promoter was friendly and shows me how to use the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil. Ops! That was simple, just slightly press and slide will do. The colour was bright and easily sticks on our skin! I love it so much and bought it.

While I was shopping there, I met Adrian and he recommended me to the latest Love You So Mochi Eye Palette. 

There has a Swatch. Watch. Play beauty bar for us to makeup and try the products by ourselves. Step by step how to make up guidelines is there to guide us. The colour pigment of Love You So Mochi collection gave you a mochi like effect after using it.
