Sardines & Prawn Fried Rice
Fried rice is such a versatile dish and a must-have comfort food. This foolproof Sardines and Prawn Fried Rice only needs 8 ingredients that you already have at home - 1 can of Ayam Brand™ Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, prawns, eggs, soy sauce, red bell pepper, sweet corn, cooked rice and oil.

Beat eggs with a pinch of salt, and fry. While frying, prep and cut the prawns into strips. No prawns? You can change it with chicken or meat strips. Or you just have the Sardines as the sole protein ingredient as it is also packed with Omega 3! Heat up more oil, stir fry all the remaining ingredients until cooked through, and thoroughly combined. Super simple but also nutritious.

Mackarel Paratel
For Curry Lovers, paratel, a dry-ish curry with just a hint of gravy is a staple for when a quick and tasty meal because it can be whipped up faster than regular curries!
 
What you need is a can of Ayam Brand™ Mackarel in Tomato Sauce, curry leaves, sliced red onions, chili, chili powder, lime and salt. Simple ingredients that when combined will blow your mind! 

Heat the oil, saute the onion, curry leaves and red chili until fragrant. Add in the mackerel with the tomato sauce, mash lightly. Add lime juice and chili powder, and salt to taste. Let it cook until slightly dry, serve with rice or bread or chapati.

Loco for Cacao
 
Remember when mum would make hot chocolate for supper on a cold and rainy night? Like a warm hug in a mug.

Continue the tradition but make it healthier with a unique East meets West spin with Loco for Cacao. Combine 80ml of Ayam Brand Coconut Super Light with hot chocolate powder of your choice, 20ml of vanilla syrup and 10ml of cinnamon syrup. Be extra and garnish with toasted coconut.

Saba Pastry Muffin
Afternoon tea of curry puff pusing, and kuih-muih from the mak cik down the road is part of the joys of Malaysian life.
 
These baked saba pastry muffins is packed with Omega 3 goodness. Roll out store-bought puff pastry dough, use a bowl to cut out circles, place in a muffin pan then fill with Ayam Brand Chilli Saba or Ayam Brand Saba Mayo, topped with sweet corn, sliced green chilli and green onion. Bake until golden brown, and it is ready to serve.

Saba Pinwheel Pastry
We may not be encouraged to eat out as often, but you can have your own café at home! Great to snack on in between zoom meetings.
 
Try this update on the spicy omelet sandwiches that grandma used to make.
 

Start with a base of pre-made puff pastry, spread a mix of two cans of Ayam Brand Saba or Ayam Brand Tuna in Chili, corn, curry powder, cheese and coriander and roll up to form a log. Cut into 2cm wide slices, place on a tray lined with baking sheets, brush egg wash and bake until golden brown.
