THANK YOU GUARDIAN DONATES 10,000 #GUARDIANCARE PACKS WORTH RM400,000 TO LOWER INCOME SCHOOL CHILDREN TO MARK ITS 54TH ANNIVERSARY

Happy 54th Anniversary to Guardian Malaysia! To celebrate its 54th anniversary after two years of pandemic-driven challenges Guardian Malaysia today launched its #guardiancare  initiative to focus on caring for the health of  customers and the community.

Angela Teo, Head of Marketing, Guardian Health & Beauty Sdn Bhd said: “#guardiancare is a sustainability initiative, that cares for our customers, their family, the shopping choices they make and also for the community they live in.

“We would like to inspire and empower customers to make healthy and sustainable choices when it comes to choosing the health and beauty brands they trust at Guardian.  At the end of the day, we want our customers to ‘care’ about what they buy and in turn, make the environment better.

“At Guardian, we believe that beauty begins from the inside.  By choosing to care, together we can make a difference.”

Consequently,
the initiative is centred around because i caresentiment,  and will  focus on three key pillars  connected to  Guardian’s brand purpose. They are:

1.    Health – good health and well-being of our customers and the communities

2.   Community – educating the community on their health concerns

3.    Environment – promoting responsible consumption and production practices, reducing single plastic use

To launch this initiative, Guardian is kicking off their Health campaign by giving away 10,000 #guardiancare packs, worth a total of RM400,000, to school children in 30 schools throughout the nation, in partnership with Yayasan Perintis Malaysia. Each #guardiancare pack will contain a specially designed Covid-19 Handbook, which has been approved by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health and hygiene products such as handwash, sanitizers, face mask, tissue paper and Gummies for kids vitamins.  These #guardiancare packs will be distributed to B40 schoolchildren at schools identified by nearby Guardian stores.

For the second pillar of Community and its health, Guardian, which has the largest network of pharmacists in South East Asia, will actively educate the community on important health issues and concerns especially during these Covid-19 times through Guardian’s social media platforms and in-store activations.

Guardian has started its Pharmacist Community Outreach programme through Facebook Live segments and Instagram where our followers can ask the Pharmacist any health concern questions ‘live’ and get their answers instantly.

In addition, Guardian will also educate consumers on products that offer ’Clean beauty’ with natural or green ingredients and also products that are ‘Cruelty free’ (not tested on animals) and with sustainable packaging, products that are packed in re-cyclable or re-useable packaging.

To care for the Environment, Guardian has introduced a special Eco-friendly re-useable #guardiancare bag in their stores now which will sell for only RM1.

“In conjunction with Malaysia’s National Environment Day celebrated on 21 October 2021, we would like reduce consumption of single use plastic bags in our stores by encouraging our customers to use these #guardiancare bags instead which can be re-used many times and last a long time.   The bags can carry far more weight than single use plastic bags.  In this way, both our customers and Guardian are caring for the planet together,” Angela said.

“We hope our customers can join and support us on this #guardiancare journey that we have embarked.  As you can see, there are many iCare programs running and we will continue to introduce more in 2022 to ensure #guardiancare becomes an important aspect of their lives with great benefits to them, their families and their community at large,” added Angela.

To further reward our customers in this Anniversary month, Guardian has put together a massive 54th Anniversary Shopping Bonanza, on all its social media platforms, with special offers of 54% off on the purchase of the second item in the personal care, health care and skin care, Botaneco hair and bath range of items.  There are also Buy 1 Free 1 promotion for cosmetics including a Shop & Win contest on Guardian’s Facebook where all they need to do is to like the Guardian 54th Anniversary Bonanza Shop & Win post and PM their Guardian receipt for purchases from 1October to 27 October to be in the running for five prizes of a Surprise Box worth RM400 each to be won.

There is also a Shop, Wave and Win contest with MyDebit running from 1 October until 31 December 2021.  All customers need to do is to spend a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt by using MyDebit with their ATM card and stand a chance to win a share of prizes worth RM520,000 over three monthly draws.  Additionally, there is also a GrabPay deal where customers will get a RM6 discount with a minimum spend of RM60 on a single receipt using GrabPay valid from 1 to 31 October 2021.

Amazing 10th Anniversary Celebration With AEON Fantasy Malaysia !

Party TimeMouse mommy and kids MR MH wish AEON Molly Fantasy a Happy 10th Anniversary Celebration!

This October, AEON Fantasy (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a member of the AEON Group of Companies in Malaysia, celebrates 10 years of family fun and safety as the premier edutainment centre for families shopping at malls and shopping centres around Malaysia. It feels so long ago when Aeon Fantasy Malaysia shared moments of joy and happiness together with you at our play centres. Seeing parents and kids happy made us happy too.

Speaking on its 10th anniversary, Datin Yasmin Merican, the pioneering director of AEON Fantasy since 2011 when it first opened its doors in Malaysia, said that the company has been part of the lives of many who have shared in the joy and merriment at the many play centres around the country where the focus continues to be on the offer of safe, fun-filled experiences for the young and their families.

Naritomo Yamazaki, the Managing Director of AEON Fantasy explains that when the company was first developed in Japan, the objective was to help children learn through the joys of play, wonder and amazement in environments which both surprise and entertain. And while the company has achieved numerous milestones over the first eight of the past ten years, growing from the few stores at AEON malls to almost 100 outlets throughout the country, the Covid 19 pandemic has of course presented new challenges.

Together with other businesses, Molly Fantasy (the brand name under which the company operates here in Malaysia), has had to rethink its operational strategy in response to to the effects of the pandemic and the changes to consumer behaviours.

“Although faced with difficult times, we realise that now more than ever, we must keep going and continue our role in bringing the smile to children when they spend time at our family play centres and live our motto of amusement and service to community through play. We take pride in providing entertainment to families while helping children grow their minds and develop their physical skills through the joys of play, wonder, amazement and surprise but unfortunately today, the Covid-19 pandemic has put all that to a standstill.”

So much change have been forced upon us. For almost 2 years now, everyone has had to adjust their lifestyle, their daily activities, their business operations and even their way of thinking. And Mollyfantasy too has had to rethink our strategy to continue being the reason for joy and excitement to our beloved customers.

Although we are faced with difficult times, seeing the precious smile of a child when spending their time with their family will always be of utmost value to our company. In keeping with our motto of “dream, amusement, interactions and service to community through play”, we realise that now more than ever, we must keep going and continue our role in making you and your little ones happy.

Like you, we realise the hard work that lies ahead, the demands of a new normal and the need to adjust as well as adapt in these difficult times of not only public health concerns but also economic turmoil. Since serving you at our play centres is not an option at this point in time, we have decided to create new opportunities for the family to experience excitement together in the form of play subscriptions, experience-based playgrounds, educational events and new play methods via our online domain, all through the magic of technology.

Muhammad Mihrab bin Zain Azman, the Project Manager of Aeon Fantasy Malaysia 10th Anniversary and as the Marketing Manager of the company emphasized that “we want to lead the way for our customers to believe that despite the distance, the restrictions and the uncertainties, we can still share meaningful moments with each other. And to achieve that, we are excited to announce that plans have been set in motion for:-

- A mobile app, Fantasy Mobile App, for the convenience of our members

- An online arcade game, Molly Online, to keep our customers entertained

- A new AEON Fantasy Malaysia website keep everyone updated and informed

- Collaborations with online partners such as Ticket2U, Traveloka, Klook, Shopee, T&G, Kidxy and AEON Marketplace, for our customers to enjoy the benefits of online purchase and promotions

- Increased engagements through social media platfroms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Telegram, to be closer to our customers through online interactions

- Introduction of more in-store game machines, to keep our customers thrilled and entertained for when they are able to visit us

Being the first family edutainment business in this country is an honour we hold dear to our hearts and with these new platforms, we hope to be able to continue sharing much needed moments of joy with our customers and have you keep us near to your hearts too.” Molly Fantasy has always been there for our dear customers and with these new plans, we hope to show you that nothing will ever stop that from happening.

Let's be there for each other in these trying times because together we can still experience happiness. And just like before, and whatever the future holds, together we will.

We are looking forward to visiting Molly Fantasy and Kidzooona ! Cheers !
