pelancaran tersebut telah berlangsung di AEON Mall Shah Alam, Selangor.

diwakili oleh Omar, Kacang dan Coklat (Choco Peanut) diwakili oleh Hana,
Kentang dengan mayonis (Potato Mayo) diwakili oleh Sara, Tuna dengan mayonis
(Tuna Mayo) diwakili oleh Yuki dan Ketam dengan mayonis (Kani Mayo) diwakili
oleh Indra.
Mouse mommy dan anak-anak suka Onigiri juga. Comel dan senang untuk
membawa Onigiri ke mana-mana untuk dimakan samada pergi ke sekolah ataupun
jalan-jalan.

Pemilihan produk onigiri sebagai pencetus kolaborasi ini juga adalah
bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan budaya makan makanan sihat dan berkhasiat di
kalangan kanak-kanak di Malaysia.
Onigiri juga merupakan makanan dari Jepun
yang bukan sahaja boleh dimakan segera malah mengenyangkan. Justeru, AEON ingin
membawa corak dan budaya pemakanan yang sihat ini di negara kita.
‘Kami ingin jadikan AEON sebagai duta kecil Jepun di Malaysia yang dapat memperkenalkan dengan lebih dekat budaya positif masyarakat Jepun. Produk yang
akan dihaslkan oleh AEON Delicatessen ini juga adalah disahkan halal oleh
JAKIM.’ ujar beliau lagi.
Majlis turut dimeriahkan dengan kehadiran maskot Omar dan Hana yang
mempromosikan rangkaian onigiri tersebut serta aktiviti kuiz bersama
pengunjung. Tetamu yang hadir turut dihiburkan dengan tayangan perdana video
dan lagu onigiri Omar & Hana.
Menurut Sinan Ismail pula, “Bagi melaksanakan kerjasama ini, kami ingin
memperkenalkan makanan yang berkhasiat dan senang dimakan oleh kanak-kanak.
Kami yakin onigiri adalah produk yang paling tepat. Ianya berasal dari Jepun
dan merupakan antara makanan yang amat digemari waktu kini,”

The recycling initiative which was launched at AEON Alpha Angle in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur is one of AEON's efforts in upholding its sustainability statement to protect the environment, biodiversity and ecosystems.
According to Azli Mohamed, Chief Ventures and Sustainability Officer of AEON, “AEON is committed to incorporating sustainable practices into product innovation and bringing positive impacts to communities. We remain committed to enhancing the sustainability practices that we have aligned with the overarching principles of People, Peace and Community,” “AEON is dedicated to meet the obligations of being a good corporate citizen.
We strive to foster greater engagement and collaboration with our communities as we seek to support our stakeholders in achieving their aspirations. In implementing this initiative today, we are grateful that we are able to work together with Kloth Cares and their founding partners, the Selangor Youth Community (SAY) and Life Line Clothing Malaysia (LLCM) in assisting us to adopt recycling bins to be located in our selected malls,” he added.
A total of 38 recycling bins will be adopted and placed at AEON Mall and AEON BiG branches around Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor.
Kloth Cares, whose aim is to keep old clothes out of landfills, will collect and distribute items from the bins to be repurposed into wiping cloth, blankets, rugs, handbags, scarfs and other items, depending on the clothes’ condition.
Through this initiative, AEON targets a total of 380,000 kg of recycled fabric to be collected in a year.
The event which was held in conjunction with World Environment Day 2022 was graced by Ummi Kalthum Shuib, Director of Federal Territory (Wilayah Persekutuan), Solid Waste & Public Cleansing Management Corporation (SWCorp) - Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya, and includes a special appearance by Kumika Kufaizul who presented a GoGreen pantun.
This initiative is in line with AEON’s efforts in championing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – 12 and 17 that focus on ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns, as well as strengthening the means of implementation and reviving global partnerships for sustainable development.
