EARTH HOUR Night Out At Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach!

Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach welcomed guests to its first Earth Hour Blackout Fest – in conjunction with the global Earth Hour initiative by encouraging guests to switch off non-essentials for an hour to conserve energy. The night’s celebrations went beyond merely turning lights off for a memorable night of entertainment and togetherness.

The blackout event kicked off on a high note with life-sized board games such as the 4-D Twister and Giant Jenga, water activities including the FlowRider, and exciting Dome Bouncy House and Gladiator Challenge inflatables. 

Hehe! Mouse mommy loves the Giant Jenga, fun to play together with buddies. Ops! I am not tall enough to put on the Jenga block after take it out.

Guests were spoilt for choice at the food corner with varieties from Cubes Pizza, Starbucks, Nathan’s Famous, Burger King, and local flavours such as char kuey teow, roti canai, roti John, fresh coconut water, teh tarik and more! 

The Earth Hour initiation commenced at 8:30pm when all lights were turned off and the giant block letters that spelled “Earth Hour” were lit. 

The hour of darkness lit up beautifully in the dark, and the Surf Beach echoed with serenades of live performances by talented local artists, The Impatient Sisters, V5 and RazQa.

Guests were further entertained through the blazingly captivating Thumbuakar Fire Performance and the night concluded with Sunway Lagoon’s original choreographed production, the Tale of Mount Berapi.

Hada Labo in collaboration with Taiwanese skincare guru Liu Yen has once again hosted its beauty talk show in Malaysia; this time featuring local celebrities namely Jojo Goh, Emily Chan, Carol Ong and Jeffrey Cheng. 

Held live for the first time in Malaysia, this unique beauty talk show was entertaining yet educational with interactive discussion on stage. Liu Yen who led the discussion, unlocked the secret to the celebrities’ glowing youthful skin which is hydration. That was the one thing the celebrities had in common in their skincare routine and daily maintenance. It is evident that beauty begins skin deep and keeping the skin hydrates the first step to achieving flawless, glowing and youthful-looking skin. 

While it is commonly agreed that looking after the skin helps improve one’s overall complexion, many seem to have overlooked the importance of incorporating proper hydration as part of their skincare routine. When the skin is left exposed to UV, dry weather or even the air conditioning without proper hydration, the skin starts to feel dry and tight. Step by step guidance was given and realtime hands on by ourselves using via Hada Labo range products. So thoughtful of the organiser has group us into the skin type that we are such as combination skin, dry skin, oily skin and sensitive skin. 

Mouse mommy was in combination skin group and provided Hada Labo mild peeling lotion, Hada Labo hydrating lotion (light), Hada Labo hydrating water gel and Hada Labo Air UV Fresh to try on. First of all, we need to clean up and wipe off the makeup via makeup remover till there is no more residue of makeup. 

After that, mouse mommy put on Hada Labo hydrating lotion (light) on a cotton and gently wipe, pat and leave it on the face for about 30 seconds. This will maximize usage and benefits from the Hada Labo lotion without waste. Awesome tips from Guru Liu Yen!

After that, we put on a thick layer of Hada Labo hydrating water gel, which is H20 in solid form that able to use it as SOS for our dehydrated skin for about 20 minute. It would be greatly helpful especially in our hot and humid weather in Malaysia. It suitable to use for oily and combination skin type. 

Lastly, we apply Hada Labo Air UV Fresh with SPF 50 to protect our skin from background radical exposure. 

A practical and useful Hada Labo workshop that was able to remind me the proper steps to keep our skin clean and healthy. Most importantly is to get the correct way in facial cleaning in order the good Hada Labo lotion able to absorb deep into the skin.
