Calling
all Malaysians,
this is your final chance to vote for your most inspiring teacher in the
1BestariNet Teacher Awards. The 1BestariNetTeacher Awards (1BNTA) is an annual award organised by FrogAsia
Sdn Bhd and supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. It is a
celebration to recognise pioneering educators with outstanding achievements in
adopting technology for education and elevating education standards in
Malaysia.
This year’s
1BNTA – themed “Celebrating Teachers Who Raise The Bar”, recognises teachers
across the country who are stepping up in their role as facilitators of
learning and knowledge transfer by raising the bar in education. The award also
recognises teachers who are stepping up as leaders by supporting other teachers
on their journey in 21st Century education and advocating 21st Century methods
in managing school activities and administration.

year’s 1BestariNet Teacher Awards, 15 outstanding teachers from across
Malaysia have been nominated and it’s now up to all Malaysians to vote for the
teacher they find most inspiring. This award means so much more than just
recognising good methods of teaching, but also acknowledging the heart and
effort that educators put in, to raise the bar of education for the future.”
said Lou Yeoh, Executive Director of Frog Asia Sdn Bhd.
The second
leg of the competition will see the shortlisted nominees presenting their best
practices and how they implement effective 21st century education. Yeoh added
that the award showcases the power of the nationwide platform, Frog VLE, in
enabling the sharing and duplication of innovative best practices presented by
the nominees.
Prizes for
the 1BestariNet Teacher Awards consist of Chromebooks, trophies, certificates,
free tickets to next year’s Leaps of Knowledge Conference, Frog exclusive
merchandise, and IT gadgets.
Voting for
the 1BestariNet Most Inspiring Teacher ends on 3 May 2018. The winners will be
announced on Teachers Day, 16 May 2018.
